🌟 Matacon NHS Shone Bright at the 2026 Albay Division Learner's Convergence! 🌟

Kirzten Kate Mendoza, our dynamic SSLG President of Matacon National High School, made waves from January 12-14, 2026, at the stunning Bernese Resort Hotel in Ligao City. Attended by different SSLG officers in Division of Albay, this event was a hub of innovation and leadership!

Double Triumph Recap:

As a proud member of the powerhouse team ALBAYANI, they clinched OVERALL 1st PLACE—a win that showcased our collective strength!

Individually recognized for delivering one of the most noteworthy project proposals during the intense project pitching session.

But here's the heart of it: This wasn't just Kirzten's achievement—it was ours! It stood for the hard work of our entire Matacon NHS family, our dedicated teachers, fellow students, and the unbreakable spirit of our SSLG. Together, we elevated education and leadership in Albay! 💪📚

We were proud to call her one of ours. Let's keep the momentum going!

Celebrating the champions of Intramurals 2025! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Etheria for clinching the championship title with their outstanding performance. 🏆 Saprio's incredible efforts secured them the 1st Runner Up position🥇 while Lireo's strategic gameplay earned them the 2nd Runner Up spot 🥈. Adamya's teamwork led them to 3rd Runner Up🥉, and Hathoria's determination got them 4th Runner Up.🌟 Miniave showed great spirit, achieving 5th Runner Up. 💫

This year's competition showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship from all teams! 🤍

The MNHS administration proudly acknowledges the vibrant energy and exceptional dedication exhibited by all students during the Intramurals Cheerdance Competition. This event served as a testament to the students' teamwork, discipline, and creative spirit.
We congratulate the winning sections, whose performances merited the following distinctions:

Once again, the talented journalist from MNHS, The Crossroads, proved their excellence and dedication during the Cluster C School Press Conference 2025, held at Polangui South Central School last September 30 to October 1, dominating the secondary level and standing out among different schools.

This two-day competition showcased their journalistic power—from individual to group events and proved that MNHS continues to be a powerhouse in school journalism. Their passion and perseverance have earned a well-deserved spot to compete at the Division Level.

Huwag kalimutan ang pluma't papel para ipahayag ang boses, isulat ang tama, at isiwalat ang katotohanan. Sa bawat salita ay may kapangyarihan at gamitin ito nang may tapang at puso para sa pagbabago.

𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨’ 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨!

On October 3, 2025, the Teachers’ Day Celebration at Matacon National High School was filled with joy and heartfelt tributes. Despite the challenges, students, teachers, and staff gathered as one to celebrate the guiding stars of our school, our ever-dedicated mentors and hardworking staff.

From entertaining little teachers to touching messages of appreciation, every moment was a reflection of how much our teachers mean to us. Their unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to quality education continue to inspire every learner and dreamer.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our school principal, Sir Cris, for his exceptional leadership and tireless dedication to guiding our esteemed teachers. We also wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), led by Hon. Randy Rivera, for their unwavering support and partnership, which has significantly contributed to the school's success.

Here’s to our everfadeless heroes, Happy Teachers’ Day! 💞
