Exhibit Opening Highlight 🌟

Yesterday, we proudly witnessed the successful opening of LUCAS RANOLA’S Filipino Harvest: A Symphony of Earth and Light – his 5th Solo Art Exhibition.**

Born in Kidapawan City in 1962, Lucas Rañola’s journey from cinema ads to fine art has been one of dedication and passion. Now an esteemed member of the Davao Watercolor Society, his works continue to celebrate the beauty of everyday Filipino life through realism, sincerity, and light. 🎨

We extend our warmest congratulations to Mr. Rañola on this milestone and thank everyone who joined us in supporting his artistry. 🌾

We are proud to announce that five members of the Davao Watercolor Society have been selected for the 37th Tubig sa Tubig National Watercolor Competition—Orvil Bantayan, Jose Jojo Tolentino Jimenez, Louiza Jayne Andamon, Stephanie Victoria Tan, and Saldy Mascardo. Their achievement is a testament to their artistry, dedication, and passion for watercolor. Congratulations to our fellow Dabawenyo artists—you inspire us all! 🎨

But what makes us even prouder is that Jose Jojo Tolentino Jimenez received the Runner-Up Award—a true recognition of his talent and hard work.

DAFI Artfest 2025 opening ceremony has just concluded and the Davao Watercolor Society joins the celebration! 🎨✨

The exhibit runs from September 3–7, 2025, open daily from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at La Herencia, F. Torres St., Davao City.

Visit and immerse yourself in the colors and creativity on display!

To those who haven’t visited yet, you’re all welcome to drop by — the exhibit runs until August 4!

Titled “Kathang Guhit,” the art show featured over 150 works done in watercolor by 20 artists. A member of the International Watercolor Society, the group is composed of professionals in the field of the arts and architecture, as well as enthusiasts who wish to learn and master watercolor as a medium.
