ISANG BUKAS NA LIHAM (OPEN LETTER MANIFESTATION)
Para sa Katatayuan ng Plaridel Tagaligtas Eagles Club

Mga mahal kong Kuya,

Mula nang maitatag ang Plaridel Tagaligtas Eagles Club noong ika-9 ng Abril 2022, kasabay ng paggunita sa Araw ng Kagitingan, nagsimula tayo sa iisang layunin—ang makapagbuo ng isang samahan na may malasakit, pagkakaisa, at tunay na paglilingkod. Unti-unti nating itinayo ang pundasyon ng ating kapatiran, tumanggap ng mga bagong miyembro, at pinagyaman ang ating adhikain bilang isang organisasyon.

Sa paglipas ng panahon, nagkaroon tayo ng mga pagbabago sa pamunuan. Inakala natin na ang mga pagbabagong ito ay magdadala ng mas maayos at mas progresibong direksyon para sa ating Club. Sa katunayan, nagbigay pa tayo ng tiwala sa kasalukuyang pamunuan sa paniniwalang kulang ang isang termino upang lubos na maisakatuparan ang mga plano at programa para sa ikabubuti ng lahat.

Subalit sa mga nagdaang panahon, kapansin-pansin ang paglihis sa tamang proseso at protocol sa pamamahala ng ating samahan. Ang mga tungkulin ng bawat opisyal, na dapat ay may malinaw na saklaw at responsibilidad, ay tila nasasapawan. Ang papel ng isang pangulo ay dapat nakatuon sa oversight at pinal na pagpapasya, ngunit sa kasalukuyan ay nagiging sentralisado ang mga gawain sa iisang tao.

Higit pa rito, may mga pagkakataon na ang proseso ng pagtanggap ng mga bagong miyembro ay hindi na naaayon sa itinakdang regulasyon. Maging sa usapin ng GOHAS at iba pang mahahalagang aspeto ng organisasyon, may mga pagkukulang na nagdudulot ng pangamba at pagkadismaya sa hanay ng mga miyembro.

Dahil dito, unti-unting humihina ang pakikiisa at partisipasyon ng marami, kabilang na ang mga senior members ng Club. Sa halip na magbuklod at maghanap ng solusyon, tila mas lumalalim ang pagkakahati ng saloobin sa loob ng samahan.

Sa ganitong sitwasyon, nararapat lamang na magkaroon ng taos-pusong pagninilay ang ating pamunuan—lalo na ang ating Pangulo. Ano nga ba ang mga nagbago mula nang siya ay maluklok sa posisyon? Mayroon bang malinaw na direksyon, programa, at konkretong accomplishments na maipapakita? Ito ay hindi upang manisi, kundi upang maibalik ang tunay na diwa ng ating kapatiran.

Bilang dating Club Secretary, ako ay nagbigay ng ilang mungkahi na nakatuon sa kapakanan ng bawat miyembro at ng organisasyon—kabilang na ang mga panukala sa health insurance, pagpapaunlad ng ating Eagles Nest, at iba pang programang makapagpapalakas sa ating samahan. Ang mga ito ay inilahad hindi para makasira, kundi upang makatulong. Subalit sa kabila nito, ang mga mungkahing ito ay hindi nabigyan ng sapat na pagkakataon upang mapag-aralan o maisakatuparan.

Sa loob ng halos apat na taon, nananatiling limitado ang nakikitang pagbabago sa ating Club. Ang PTEC, na inaasahan nating magiging simbolo ng progreso, ay tila hindi pa rin lubos na napapaunlad.

Mga mahal kong Kuya, ang liham na ito ay hindi isang pag-atake kundi isang panawagan—panawagan para sa pagbabalik sa tamang landas, sa pagsunod sa ating mga alituntunin, at sa muling pagpapatibay ng ating pagkakaisa. Nawa’y magsilbi itong simula ng bukas na komunikasyon, pagkakaunawaan, at kolektibong pagkilos para sa ikabubuti ng Plaridel Tagaligtas Eagles Club.

Sa huli, ang tunay na lakas ng ating samahan ay nagmumula hindi sa iisang tao, kundi sa pagkakaisa at malasakit ng bawat miyembro.

Maraming salamat, at nawa’y manaig ang tunay na diwa ng kapatiran.

A Public Outburst Masquerading as Truth

Senator Imee Marcos’s dramatic tirade at the Quirino Grandstand was loud, emotional, and confrontational. But none of that turns a claim into a fact. Her statements about President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. may have stirred the crowd, yet they offered zero evidence. What she delivered was spectacle, not substance.

Chairman Emeritus Dr. Jose Antonio Goitia did not indulge the theatrics.
“When someone makes accusations this serious without a shred of proof, it is not bravery. It is recklessness,” he said. “The Filipino people deserve truth, not emotional outbursts pretending to be national warnings.”

Unproven, Unsupported, Unacceptable

Accusing a sitting president of drug use is one of the gravest allegations a public official can make. It demands ironclad evidence. Imee provided nothing. No records. No verification. No documentation. Just a microphone, a crowd, and a narrative crafted for maximum shock value.

Goitia challenged her directly.
“If evidence exists, show it. If none exists, stop dragging the entire nation into a personal meltdown,” he said. “We cannot allow unverified claims to destabilize the republic.”

The President Already Took a Drug Test

The facts are clear. President Marcos voluntarily underwent a drug test at St. Luke’s in 2021, and the result for co***ne was negative. Hospital officials even testified before the Senate to confirm its validity. This is not a loophole. This is a documented test. If the accusers truly believed their own claims, then this decisive step destroys their narrative completely.

A Baseless Attack on the First Lady

The attempt to implicate First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos reveals the desperation behind the narrative. Liza has a consistent record of professionalism and restraint. She has never been associated with the kind of behavior Imee insinuated. To smear her without evidence is not only dishonest, it exposes the pettiness of the attack.

Goitia was blunt.
“Dragging the First Lady into this without basis is a cheap shot. It is gossip dressed up as concern,” he said. “It insults the intelligence of the Filipino people.”

Reality Contradicts the Accusation

Anyone watching the President closely can see the truth. His schedule is full. His decisions are steady. His leadership is consistent. You cannot claim impairment when the evidence shows discipline, clarity, and active governance.

Goitia pointed this out with precision.
“Leadership is measured by action. The President continues to work, continues to lead, and continues to deliver,” he said. “Rumor cannot erase results.”

Family Drama Is Not State Policy

Imee’s public outburst is not a service to the nation. It is a spectacle rooted in resentment, not responsibility. Filipinos cannot afford to have national discourse dictated by a sibling’s emotional explosion. Family drama, no matter how explosive, is not a substitute for credible information.

Goitia’s Warning to the Nation

Goitia’s message cuts through the fog.
“Loose talk weakens the country. If officials want to be taken seriously, they must speak with evidence. Not emotion. Not theatrics. Evidence,” he said.

Reject Rumor. Demand Proof.

The country has real battles to fight. Economic recovery, security, and national stability all require focus and unity. What they do not require is a politician firing accusation that evaporate under scrutiny.

Until genuine evidence is presented, Imee’s claims remain nothing more than noise.

And the nation should not be governed by noise.
