(Legazpi City, February 18, 2026) The Albay Provincial Agricultural Office brought the KADIWA ng Pangulo trade fair to the Cagsawa Festival as part of efforts to strengthen market access for local farmers.

The initiative, led by the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service, aimed to connect rural producers directly with consumers.

The on-site KADIWA center allowed festival-goers to purchase fresh farm products without middleman markups.

Products sold included highland vegetables, organic grains, and locally processed delicacies.

Provincial officials said integrating KADIWA into the festival supports local food security and economic resilience.

The participation of agri-preneurs also highlighted efforts to modernize Albay’s agricultural sector into sustainable business ventures.
