The JLo Big Heart Foundation shared love and nourishment by distributing oatmeal to our beloved lolos and lolas during the 6th-year anniversary celebration of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) in Legazpi City, which was themed ‘Empowering Seniors, Enriching Communities.’

As part of the 2025 National Celebration of Elderly Filipino Week, the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC), in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Public Attorney’s Office, Bicol Medical Center – Geriatrics Department, Bicol Region General Hospital and Geriatric Medical Center, JLO Big Heart Foundation Inc., and Peñafrancia Kalasag Eagles Club, successfully held a heartfelt program at the Naga City Jail Facility, Naga City, Camarines Sur, on October 28, 2025.

With the theme “Embracing Age: Living a Life with Dignity and Purpose,” the event brought together our senior citizens and partner institutions to honor the invaluable contributions of the elderly and promote their welfare and inclusion.

The event features an inspiring program—from invocation and national anthem, welcome remarks, and keynote messages from partner agencies to a Caravan of Services offering free legal, medical, and geriatric services as well as the distribution of hygiene kits and heartfelt expressions of appreciation for our Lolos and Lolas. The JLo Big Heart Foundation was honored to support by providing 100 packed meals for the participants.

Every Filipino elder deserves to be celebrated, respected, and loved—regardless of where they are.

A Gift from the Heart: Dental Outreach Program

Our heartfelt thanks to the Philippine Dental Association - Camarines Sur Chapter for leading this dental outreach. The JLo Big Heart Foundation was honored to support by providing 75 senior citizens with hygiene kits - a simple act of care for our beloved elders’ well-being.

Our dedicated dental professionals offered free consultations, oral prophylaxis, dental hygiene education, and distributed hygiene kits — all in a mission to uplift lives through better oral health.

This one-day outreach is more than just a service.. it’s a testament to the power of compassion, community, and care.

A Gift from the HEART:
Community Outreach Activity

Last August 16, 2025, the JLo Big Heart Foundation brought smiles and hope to Brgy. Old Moriones, Ocampo, Camarines Sur as this year’s chosen beneficiary community.

Under our Wheels of Hope Program, 30 beneficiaries received wheelchairs and quad canes to help restore mobility, dignity, and independence.

Through our Education Program, 50 Kinder pupils of Moriones Elementary School received new school bags with complete supplies to inspire learning, while their teachers were equipped with a set of printer and classroom supplies to better support education.

The day was filled with joy, fun, and sharing—reminding us all that when we come together, we can create lasting impact in the lives of many.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, partners, and supporters who continue to make our mission possible.💖

We're thrilled to share the success of our wheelchair distribution event to the Missionaries of the Poor, Divine Mercy Apostolate Center last June 25, 2025, where we handed over 25 wheelchairs to residents in need, giving them a new lease on life and improving their overall well-being. 👨‍🦽🩵
