𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀

The Science Teachers Active Regents (STAR) successfully conducted TUKLAS 2026 with the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Science Educators: Leading with Purpose, Learning with Passion” on February 6, 2025, at the Alvaro Rabina Hall. The activity also served as the organization’s annual student assembly and venue for the ratification of its Constitution and Bylaws.

The morning session was dedicated to the amendment and ratification of the STAR Constitution and Bylaws through a formal resolution process. Several proposed amendments were deliberated, with Mayor Pauline A. Vargas presiding as chair of the assembly.

The organization’s legislative body presented the resolutions, which were subsequently approved by the general membership through a plebiscite.

The session also featured the presentation of the Accomplishment Report for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, along with the Financial Report, ensuring transparency and accountability within the organization.

In the afternoon, participants were divided into two learning sessions: a Lesson Planning Seminar and a Research Discussion, facilitated by Diana D. Samar, Teacher III, and Dr. Reymark G. Basagre, respectively. The Lesson Planning Seminar focused on enhancing members’ skills in developing effective, student-centered lesson plans, while the Research Discussion explored potential researchable areas in science education, particularly on physics.

Adding to the event’s engagement, STAR also held a “Minute to Know It” competition, where entries were showcased through an audio-visual presentation (AVP).

TUKLAS 2026 reinforced STAR’s commitment to academic excellence, organizational good governance, and the holistic development of future science educators, marking another milestone in its continued efforts to empower its members through leadership, learning, and innovation.

𝗖𝗗𝗘 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲-𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟰𝟮 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀

The College of Development Education (CDE) of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) conducted its 4th Pinning and Candle-Lighting Ceremony on January 15, 2026, at the LRV Student Atrium, marking the formal transition of 242 pre-service teachers into their field immersion phase as part of their teacher education preparation.

The ceremony, themed “SINAG: Illuminating the Path of Pre-Service Teachers in Pursuit of Quality Teacher Education Preparation,” recognized the readiness of education students to begin their practicum and reinforce their responsibilities as future educators.

The program opened with a Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Bernard M. Lagatic, followed by the processional, the Philippine National Anthem, and a musical performance by the CBSUA Pan Midya Vocal Group.

Campus Administrator Allan B. Del Rosario, PhD, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the commitment required of students entering the teaching profession. Guest speaker Sherlina H. Dela Torre, Assistant Principal II of Pili National High School, emphasized the role of teachers in guiding learners and upholding ethical standards in education.

The central activity of the event was the Pinning and Candle-Lighting Ceremony, led by Sir Joseph D. Medilla, Chairperson of the Elementary Education Program (EEP). The activity symbolized the students’ readiness to apply their academic training in real classroom settings. Marienne Sophia C. Cabal led the Pledge of Student Teachers, where participants affirmed their commitment to professionalism and service.

Associate Professor Karen B. Perez, Dean of the College of Development Education, delivered the closing remarks, encouraging the pre-service teachers to remain dedicated as they undertake their teaching assignments.

The ceremony concluded with the singing of “Saranggola” by Ben&Ben and the CBSUA Hymn, performed by the newly pinned pre-service teachers.
The activity serves as a formal requirement and milestone for education students before their deployment to cooperating schools.

CBSUA Robotics Club Launches “Wave 1: Arduino Robotics 101” Workshop

The CBSUA Robotics Club successfully conducted its first wave of the Arduino Robotics 101 workshop with the theme “Introduction to the Fundamentals of Robotics and Programming using Arduino and Arduino Kits," on November 27, 2025, at the Student Lounge of the Student Center Building.

The event opened with warm and inspiring welcome remarks from the club’s Executive Director Dorothy Tadeo. She encouraged everyone to actively engage throughout the sessions.

The event continued with two engaging workshops facilitated by the resource speaker, Mr. Renzo Borja, LPT, MAEd. The first workshop, "Introduction to Basics of Arduino-Based Robotics", discussed the parts, components, circuits, and sensors used in basic robotics.

The second workshop, "Introduction to Basic Arduino-Based Robotics Programming and Coding", guided participants through writing simple codes and operating Arduino boards.

After the lectures, participants showcased their learning through a group activity on circuit creation, followed by a hands-on coding challenge called “Debug and Run,” where they tested and improved their code to make their circuits function correctly.

The workshop concluded with closing remarks from Deputy Director Ricky Reyes, who thanked the participants, officers, and speaker for contributing to the success of the first wave of the training series.

The success of Wave 1: Arduino Robotics 101 marks a strong beginning for the club’s mission to build a community of young innovators.

Layunin ng nasabing gawad na kilalanin at parangalan ang mga kalahok at nagwagi sa mga patimpalak noong Buwan ng Panitikan at Buwan ng Wika.

Dumalo sa naturang programa ang mga nagwagi sa Tinta Panitikan 2025 at Paligsahan sa Pagsulat ng Islogan upang tanggapin ang kanilang mga gantimpala at sertipiko.

Sa pamamagitan ng Gawad Parangal 2025, muling pinatunayan na buhay at patuloy na yumayabong ang pagpapahalaga ng kabataan sa wika at panitikan—na siyang nagsisilbing haligi ng ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan.

Following the improvement of weather conditions after the passage of Typhoon Ramil, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture – Pili Campus announces the 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, as stated in Campus Administrator Memorandum No. 10-161, series of 2025.

As indicated in the memorandum, all faculty members, students, and staff are advised to return to their regular academic and office schedules, while continuing to observe safety, discipline, and preparedness measures at all times.
