โ€ŽWith the CDE Student Council as the organizer, together with its umbrella organizations, including the Guild of English Majors (GEMS), the CDE community shared a day filled with appreciation, laughter, and memorable moments with the CDE Faculty.

โ€ŽMore than just educators, our teachers are mentors, role models, and steadfast companions in our journey toward growth and learning. "An oath isn't just words, it's a commitment to action"

On October 2, 2026, the newly elected officers of the Guild of English Majors (GEMS) - Student Council officially took their Oath of Office at the Training Center of Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL). Each officer pledged to fulfill their respective duties and responsibilities with integrity, diligence, commitment, and excellence.

Taking the oath was not just about standing in front and making a promise. It was about accepting the trust given to them and being ready to show up, do their part, and serve their fellow English majors.

As they begin their term for this academic year, we hope they continue to support one another, listen to their fellow students, and make the most of every opportunity that comes their way.

Here's to a new year of service, teamwork, growth, and shared experiences.

The ๐†๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐Œ๐š๐ฃ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ (๐†๐„๐Œ๐’) joined the Abrasa 2026: Freshies Salubong with an interactive booth packed with exciting games and experiences for incoming freshmen and transferees.

From testing your luck at the Human Slot Machine, challenging your balance with Balance the Coin, to stepping into another world through Virtual Reality, GEMS made sure there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Beyond the fun, the booth also served as part of GEMS' Income-Generating Project (IGP), supporting the guildโ€™s future activities and initiatives.
