The ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž (CAS) officially welcomed its students for ๐€๐œ๐š๐๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐œ ๐˜๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”โ€“๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• during its first joint orientation at the LRV Atrium on August 27, 2026. The event brought together student leaders, faculty members, and freshmen from the ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ (SBS) and the ๐„๐ง๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ (ESS).

The event opened with a Holy Mass and the traditional โ€œ๐๐š๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ค๐จ ๐ค๐ข ๐ˆ๐ง๐šโ€ for the Peรฑafrancia Festival, setting a meaningful and community-centered tone. This was followed by the welcoming of the new SBS and ESS freshmen and the introduction of the CAS, Biology, and Environmental Science faculty members.

The afternoon session focused on environmental policy and sustainability, inspiring the students to practice mindful environmental stewardship. Outgoing student leaders also shared the key achievements of the ๐‚๐€๐’ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ, ๐’๐๐’, and ๐„๐’๐’. The orientation concluded with closing remarks from ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐„๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ก๐ฎ๐ง ๐‹๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ , the new CAS-SC Adviser, marking a successful and inspiring start to the new academic year.
