As one of our advocacy in advancing the Philippine EMS, AEMSP-PH participated in the Road Safety Connectathon, training on Foundations of Healthcare Interoperability. This event was a great opportunity to collaborate with representatives from various sectors, including emergency response, healthcare, transport, and public health. The training covered key topics such as the SIL-PH Project, interoperability concepts, standards, and FHIR fundamentals. Sector-focused workshops further addressed program management, semantic mapping, and data integration points. We believe this Connectathon will help us move towards a more harmonized and interoperable national road safety data ecosystem.

We love to see members of our community, past and present, do amazing things for the profession!

We're incredibly proud to celebrate the launch of the "Interactive EMS History Timeline," a groundbreaking new resource from EMS Clinician, educator, and former National Registry team member Donnie Woodyard Jr.

This first-of-its-kind digital archive traces the evolution of EMS from the Civil War to today, with over 150 milestones. What makes it truly special is its direct links to primary source documents, allowing you to engage with our history like never before.
As Donnie says, “Understanding our history isn’t nostalgic—it’s strategic.”

This is an invaluable tool for every Clinician, educator, and leader. Explore the timeline and rediscover our roots!

Happy International Paramedics Day!

Today, we celebrate International Paramedics Day, honoring the incredible dedication and teamwork of paramedics worldwide! This special day marks the birth of Dominique-Jean Larrey, often called the father of modern ambulance services.

This year's theme, "Unity & Community," truly embodies the collaborative spirit essential to the EMS profession. The National Registry is proud to recognize the vital role paramedics play in patient care around the world every single day.

Join us in celebrating these heroes!
