Sen. Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa has moved to dismiss the verified impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte, believing that it has some constitutional infirmities.

Dela Rosa, in a privilege speech on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, likened the impeachment case to a structure that was not built on solid ground or was constructed at the edge of a cliff that could easily collapse.

“I respectfully move that in view of its constitutional infirmities and questions on the jurisdiction and authority of the 20th Congress, the verified impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte be dismissed,” Dela Rosa stated.
