🌿 Green Leaf Alliance (DAT 3F): Growing Greens, Nurturing Dreams! 🌱

The Green Leaf Alliance proudly continues its mission toward sustainable agriculture through Pechay Production at the DOST Nursery under Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center.

Our journey began with land preparation — cultivating and shaping the soil for healthy growth. We then sowed our pechay seeds and ensured consistent watering to keep them thriving. 💧

To maintain a healthy and eco-friendly nursery, we applied natural pesticides to protect our plants while caring for the environment. We also installed plot braces to prevent leaching and conserve soil fertility, ensuring our pechay grows strong and green. 🌾

Through teamwork, dedication, and sustainable practices, the Green Leaf Alliance continues to promote hands-on learning and responsible farming for a greener future! 💚

Today's planting session was a HUGE success! 🌿💚
The D' PLANTERS planted 19 pots of Maguey️, and they're all set to THRIVE! 🌱

Maguey or Agave — is a stunning succulent that looks much like a pineapple plant 🍍.
With its thick, fleshy leaves and towering flower stalks, this hardy beauty is not only grown for its ornamental charm, but is also used in making tequila and other traditional products. 🌱✨

Moving on to Part 2 📝 of their maintenance plan, they focused on weeding 🚮 and clearing the area around their Pineapple 🍍 and Magey plants to give them the best chance to grow STRONG 💪 and HEALTHY! 🌿💚

🌿 On Wednesday, October 21, 2025, The D' PLANTERS group got to work, tending, cleaning, and watering their thriving seedlings. 🌱 Their nursery area is bursting with life, featuring a colorful mix of fruit trees like rambutan, 🥑 avocado, 🍫 cacao, 🥭 mango, 🍍 pineapple, santol, jackfruit, and the uniquely Filipino duhat (also known as longboy).

But the real showstopper is their 🥒 cucumber crop, carefully nurtured in a greenhouse-like structure that provides the perfect environment for these crunchy delights to flourish. 🌞💧

With their green thumbs and dedication, D' PLANTERS are not just growing plants but they're cultivating a community and sharing the joys of gardening. 🌸 Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, their enthusiasm is contagious! 💚
