RISE4KIDS: Run For A Cause

This December 16, at exactly 4:00 AM, we invite everyone to gather at Piddig Farmers Trading Center, as we unite for a meaningful run in connection with the Piddig Fiesta and the SK Federation’s continuing commitment to youth-centered initiatives. Rise4Kids is more than just a race—it is a movement to uplift, support, and inspire. This year, the proceeds will directly benefit nutritionally at-risk children and young people in Piddig, helping provide programs that strengthen their health and well-being.

We are incredibly proud to share the success of the Community-Based Health Teaching Program conducted by the 2nd Year BS in Nursing students of Northern Christian College, who brought their knowledge and passion to Brgy. Gayamat, delivering essential health education to young learners aged 3 to 5 years old.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated Nursing students for their outstanding efforts, the Clinical Instructors for their unwavering guidance, the Brgy. Officials of Gayamat for their invaluable support, the Daycare Worker and Kindergarten Teacher for their patience and assistance, and the parents and young participants for their warm participation, which filled the day with learning, joy, and bright smiles!

We also extend our sincere gratitude to SK Federated President Deeniz Jezreel Mandac for selecting our barangay to benefit from this program.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Gayamat, led by SK Chairperson Jalove Jacinto, successfully distributed school supplies to 40 selected students.

SK PROJECT | Installation of Solar Lights at the Covered Court of Brgy. Gayamat

Through the leadership of SK Chairperson Jalove Jacinto, six brand new solar lights were installed at the covered court of Brgy. Gayamat.

Now, the youth can enjoy extended hours for sports, activities, and gatherings without worrying about darkness.

This initiative also highlights our commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. By harnessing the power of the sun, we are reducing energy costs and our environmental footprint.

🎤 Piddig Got Talent 2025 – Guidelines and Mechanics

📌 General Guidelines

1. Eligibility:
• Open to all youth aged 15–30 years old residing in the municipality/barangay.
• Participants may join as a solo, duo, or group.

2. Registration:
• All entries must register on or before August 1, 2025 via Google Form (https://forms.gle/RRhvgyKNazaVg3YY6)
• A registration form and a valid ID or barangay certification are required.

3. Categories:
• Singing
• Dancing
• Instrumental Performance
• Spoken Word Poetry
• Unique Talents (e.g., magic, beatboxing, martial arts, etc.)

📝 Pre-Screening
• All registered participants are required to attend the pre-screening on:
📅 August 2, 2025
📍 Piddig Municipal Hall
🕘 Whole day (first come, first served basis)
• Please come prepared with your performance piece and any necessary props. This is a non-public screening for evaluation purposes.

🎭 Performance Guidelines
• Each performance must be 3 to 5 minutes long.
• Props and costumes are allowed but must be safe and non-destructive to the venue.
• Lyrics, acts, or messages must be clean, respectful, and family-friendly.
• Background music must be submitted via Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oLGWmen9JUzUmBvrGvfFhadnOSULs66d) before the event.
• Dangerous or prohibited materials (e.g., fire, sharp objects, pyrotechnics) are strictly not allowed.
