October 10, 2024— The Barangay Sangguniang Kabataan ng Ilian Proper has started the renovation of the community’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This project aims to improve waste management and promote recycling in the area.
The renovation began on October 10, with local officials and community members present to support the initiative. The updated MRF will help residents recycle more effectively and raise awareness about proper waste disposal.
A representative from the Sangguniang Kabataan stated, “This project is an important step towards a cleaner environment for our community. We are committed to making a positive change.”
The renovated facility is expected to benefit all residents of Ilian Proper.
