CNVR (Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return)
should be mainstream. Not impounding. Not euthanasia.

Stray cats do not deserve to suffer simply because they were born into a world that failed to protect them. Behind every growing population is a cycle of abandonment, neglect, and lack of humane action.

CNVR is more than population control. It is compassion put into action. It prevents endless litters, reduces suffering, and protects both animals and communities in a humane and sustainable way.

Impounding and euthanasia do not address the root cause. But CNVR creates long-term change by preventing suffering before it begins.

It’s time for humane solutions to become mainstream. Because every life deserves care, dignity, and a chance to exist without cruelty.

Minsan sa sobrang grabe ng ginawang karahasan, mapapatanong ka na lang talaga kung TAO pa ba ang gumagawa nito? Baka hindi na...

Minsan hindi Kamatayan ang nakakatakot sa lahat, kundi ang mabuhay na walang kaluluwa. 💀☠️

Ayon sa Republic Act No. 8485, o ang Animal Welfare Act of 1998, ipinagbabawal ang pagpapahirap, pagpapabaya, at ano mang uri ng kalupitan sa lahat ng hayop.

Ang mga lumalabag sa batas na ito ay maaaring maharap sa pagkakulong at maaaring pagmultahin, alinsunod sa RA 10631.

Sa mga ka*o ng pang-aabuso o pagpapabaya sa hayop, siguraduhing kumuha ng ebidensya (larawan o video) at i-report ito agad sa inyong lokal na pamahalaan (LGU) o barangay.

Barangay San Antonio Pasig City is launching a village-wide CNVR and community cat management program in cooperation with Cats of Ortigas and we are looking for volunteers. This is open to all San Antonio Village residents and residents of nearby areas.

We will be organizing a briefing to provide more details.

Every day, thousands of souls suffer in plain sight while the world looks the other way.

We get so caught up in our own lives, our screens, and our schedules that we forget that a small act of kindness could be the only thing standing between life and death for a creature in need. 🐾

A "someone else will do it" mentality is exactly what leads to the final, lonely silence depicted here.

Suportahan ang CNVR (Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate against Rabies-Return) sa inyong komunidad-isang ligtas, makatao, at subok na paraan para makontrol ang populasyon ng a*o at pusa, habang nababawasan ang panganib ng aksidente, sakit, at iba pang health issues.

May sarili ring spay/neuter clinic ang CARA sa Mandaluyong, bukas para sa mga gustong magpakapon ng kanilang alagang hayop o community cats at dogs.

SILA DIN AY APEKTADO NG KRISIS

What feels like an adjustment for us becomes something heavier for them.
The effects of the oil crisis do not stop at rising prices or limited mobility. It reaches the streets in ways we do not always see. Missed meals. Longer days of waiting. Nights that grow a little harsher.

They do not understand why everything changed.
They just know that the people who used to come are not there as often anymore.

As fuel prices rise, some schools and workplaces shift to alternative setups, while others continue with fewer people coming and going.
Transportation strikes keep fewer people moving, and familiar routes fall still.
There are fewer footsteps, fewer faces, and fewer moments of kindness they used to rely on.

And in that quiet, hunger stays.

If you can, be the one who shows up.
Leave a little food for the community cats and dogs near you.
In a time when movement is limited and routines are disrupted, your presence can still mean everything.
