Day 1- Today marks the tirst day of our Midyear Prayer and Fasting
Week. Join us! let us humble ourselves before the Lord and seek His will for our nation. May we surrender every concern, hope, and burden to the One who remains sovereign over the Philippines and the world.

There is hope for our nation because there is God.

Nothing is impossible when we genuinely put our faith in the Lord and wholeheartedly obey His Word. No matter how deep the challenges, how broken the systems, or how difficult the circumstances may seem, God is able to restore, redeem, and transform. There is hope that what is wrong can be made right, and that hope begins with us.

Revival always starts in the hearts of God’s people. Before we can transform a nation, we must first allow God to transform us. As believers and followers of Christ, we are called to live lives marked by faith, integrity, humility, compassion, and unwavering obedience. We are God’s hands and feet in a world longing for hope.

The Philippines does not simply need better systems, it needs men and women whose hearts are fully surrendered to God. Let us become the generation that chooses righteousness over compromise, service over self-interest, and truth over convenience. Let us intentionally love God, intentionally serve others, and intentionally work for the good of our nation.

May we demonstrate genuine compassion for every Filipino, defend what is right, uphold justice, and faithfully serve our communities. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, may our faith be seen not only in our words but in our character, our leadership, and our actions.

We cannot accomplish this in our own strength. But our God is all-powerful, and with Him, nothing is impossible. As we faithfully obey His calling, He will use ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things for His glory.

Let us be the generation that God raises to bring healing, hope, and transformation to our beloved Philippines. Together, united in Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, let us become instruments of His peace, His love, and His purpose, for our families, our communities, and our nation.

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

May we answer that call today. May revival begin with us, and may God heal our land.

𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥: 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗔𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟲: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵

𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟯:𝟮𝟬-𝟮𝟭
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us..."

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Fasting breaks the hold of the flesh and increases our spiritual awareness. As you continue to wait on God, expect Him to move powerfully in and through your life. Remind yourself of God's limitless power and promises, and allow your faith to grow.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Father, I believe that You can do immeasurably more than I could ever ask or imagine. Strengthen my faith and give me the boldness to trust in Your promises over my circumstances. Amen.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
In what specific areas am I praying for God to do a powerful work? Do I limit what God can do in my life?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:
1. Ask the Lord to strengthen your faith and remind you of His limitless power to comfort you in times of worry and anxiety.

2. Pray that the Lord will do immeasurable things for our country and our leaders. Pray fervently for His divine intervention, that true transformation will take place in our nation — that every Filipino will turn their heart to God and declare Him Lord over this land.

3. Pray for patience as we seek and wait upon God to answer our prayers. Pray that every Filipino will truly seek Him and trust in His power as we wait upon Him. May the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead revive this nation, heal its divisions, and bring an end to political turmoil.

4. Pray also for our leaders, that they too will turn their hearts to God. May God expose and put an end to wickedness in leadership, and may He bring forth His divine justice. May the Lord protect those who serve our nation faithfully and with the fear of God. May He use them as lights in this time of darkness and shield them from the attacks of the enemy.

𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥: 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗔𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱: 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱

𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟮:𝟮
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
The way we think dictates how we live. During a fast, we are not just fasting physically; we are feasting on the truth of God's Word. By meditating on Scripture, you push out worldly worries and allow the Holy Spirit to transform your thought patterns.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord, transform my heart and thoughts. Renew my mind so that I can discern Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. Help me to focus on things that honor You. Amen

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
What negative or worldly thoughts do I need to replace with God's truth today?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
1. Pray for the AFP that they may renew their minds day by day. In the face of the pressures of this world, may they not conform to its patterns — pride and corruption — but be transformed by the truth of Your Word.

2. May the Lord deliver the AFP, PNP, and all other uniformed services from the temptation to think according to the world's standards of power, self-interest, and compromise.

3. Pray that by the power of the Holy Spirit, our leaders will have their thinking transformed so that their leadership may reflect Your justice, Your compassion, and Your truth.

4. Pray that our Lord would remind our leaders that true leadership begins in the heart — a heart surrendered to God and a mind aligned to the instructions of the Lord.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰: 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘀 𝟯:𝟱-𝟲
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
When we lay down our own will and agenda, clarity follows. God delights in guiding those who surrender their decisions to Him. Fasting helps soften your heart so you can discern the direction He wants you to take

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
God, I acknowledge You in all our ways. Give the leaders of our land the wisdom to make godly decisions and the patience to wait for Your direction. Guide our steps as a nation, Lord. Amen.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
What upcoming decision or situation do I need God's wisdom for?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:
1. Pray that the Lord will help you, by the power and might of the Holy Spirit, to surrender your own will and agenda to Him.

2. Pray that our leaders — specifically those in the military and in the police — will learn to surrender to the will of God and seek His guidance as they make daily decisions that affect our country and our people.

3. May the Lord grant clarity to all our leaders in the AFP, that their hearts and minds will be aligned with the goals and vision that the institution has set for our country.

4. Let us lift all our leaders in prayer, that they will not rely on their own understanding but will submit to the Lordship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, performing their duties with a genuine love for our country and in accordance with His instruction.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯: 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟰:𝟲-𝟳
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
When physical hunger sets in, it is a physical reminder that we do not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. During this is time that we are facing many challenges as a nation, learn to trade your anxiety for God's perfect peace. Instead of relying on your own understanding or strength, lean completely on Him by trusting and knowing that He is in control of everything.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord, I cast all my anxieties upon You because I know You care for me and our country. You are my ultimate Provider and my peace. I trust You with my life, my family, and my future and my country. Amen.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
What specific areas of my life or future am I trying to control instead of trusting God with?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:
1. Thank God for all the blessings He has given you.

2. Tell God all your worries and ask Him to take control of your life. Ask for discernment as you process what is going on in our country and pray for His divine intervention for our nation and our leaders.

3. Pray to God for peace in our hearts that despite of what is happening in our country, God would guard our hearts including our leaders especially our men and women in uniform. Pray that our leaders will perform their duties doing what is rightful and just.

4. Pray that he will raise up a people and a nation that reflects His holiness, walks in His truth, and desires to honor and glorify His name.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Fasting naturally exposes our human limitations and hidden struggles, but also our brokenness as a nation. Pride, division, injustice, and turning away from God. Let us ask for forgiveness for our own shortcomings and intercede on behalf of our nation. A repentant and humbled people is fertile ground for God's transforming and healing power.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Father, we ask for Your cleansing grace — over our hearts and over our nation. Forgive us for where we have fallen short as a people. Renew a right spirit within us and create in us clean hearts. May our nation turn from unrighteousness and walk in obedience to You. Heal our land, Lord, and let Your righteousness reign. Amen.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Is there any hidden sin, unforgiveness, or pride I need to confess and let go of today?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:
1. Let us come before the Lord in humility, confessing not only our personal sins but to seek forgive us as a nation.

2. Let us intercede on behalf of our people asking God to forgive our collective pride, division, and turning away from Him and pray that God would stir a deep hunger for righteousness across our land — in our homes, our communities, and our institutions.

3. Finally, let us ask the Lord to cleanse and renew our nation from the inside out. May He uproot every form of corruption, injustice, and unrighteousness that has taken hold in our land.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭: 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱

𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲:
Jeremiah 29:13 - "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Fasting is more than abstaining from food or routine — it is a pursuit of God's presence. In light of recent developments in our country, may we step away from the distractions of the world to pray and fast for our nation and our leaders. May your time with God create space to hear His voice. Today, lay down your burdens and make the intentional choice to seek Him first.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿:
Lord, as I humble myself to wait upon You, open my eyes to see Your presence. I surrender my distractions and choose to seek Your Kingdom first. Amen.

Reflection Questions: What are the biggest distractions currently pulling me away from my relationship with God? How can I intentionally pursue Him today?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀:
1. As we seek the Lord's presence, let us humbly ask Him to empower us through the Holy Spirit to resist every distraction that keeps us from choosing Jesus and delighting in Him.

2. In the midst of what our country is going through, let us ask the Lord that peace and righteousness reign — first in our hearts, and then across our nation. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit grant us discernment and wisdom in our words and actions.

3. Let us pray for our leaders, that their decisions and actions flow from a reverent fear of God. May they continually seek His wisdom and serve according to His instruction.

4. Finally, let us pray that we, as a nation, will truly and wholeheartedly seek God.
