There is something truly special about people who are willing to travel far from home, step into a different culture, and give their time and hearts to make a difference in the lives of children.

Today, we are grateful to welcome our new volunteers from Germany to the CMSP Children’s Village! They arrived safely at around 3:00 AM today after their long journey. Despite the early hour and the rainy weather, they came with warm smiles and a wonderful spirit.

We are excited for the days ahead as they experience life in the Village—sharing their time and talents, interacting with the children, helping in simple but meaningful ways, and most importantly, building friendships and memories that will last beyond their stay. 🌱❤️

You don't have to be extraordinary to make a difference. Sometimes, your presence, a listening ear, a helping hand, a shared skill, a smile, or simply the willingness to spend time with a child can mean more than you realize.

At CMSP, volunteering is not just about giving. It is also about connecting, learning, and sharing. You may come to the Philippines thinking you are here to help, but you may leave with friendships, unforgettable memories, and a piece of the CMSP family in your heart. ❤️

26 Years of Partnership, Friendship, and Family: CMSP & Para Sa Iyo

For 26 wonderful years, the partnership between Christian Mission Service Philippines (CMSP) and Para Sa Iyo has continued to grow, rooted in friendship, strengthened by faith, and nurtured by a shared commitment to transform the lives of children and young people.

Our 26th Anniversary Celebration became even more meaningful as we welcomed 82 members of the Para Sa Iyo family, including the Para Sa Iyo Kids and former leaders of Para Sa Iyo, who came together to celebrate this very special milestone. The group was led by Presidents Seina Yoshike and Mizuka Nakagaki.

Having former leaders present was especially meaningful, as they represent the many people who have helped build, lead, and sustain Para Sa Iyo through the years. Their presence, together with the current members and the Para Sa Iyo Kids, beautifully showed how the spirit of Para Sa Iyo continues to live on across generations.

The celebration began on August 21 with a meaningful fellowship and meeting, where members of Para Sa Iyo and CMSP gathered to reconnect, share updates, and celebrate the journey we have traveled together.

During the meeting, Para Sa Iyo and CMSP presented their updates and reports, followed by a warm dinner fellowship. CMSP was represented by Chairperson Dinbo Macaranas, Executive Director Rose Salvani, Trustee Rachel Cadiogan, Pastor Keith Quebral, Ma’am Dinah Macaranas, together with some CMSP staff members, college graduates, and graduating college students.

🌊 Saturday: A Day of New Experiences and Beautiful Memories

Saturday was especially memorable for our children. For many of them, it was their first time going to the beach and experiencing a special day like this with the Para Sa Iyo family.

The excitement, laughter, and joy were truly priceless as the children enjoyed:

For many of our children, this was more than just a beach outing. It was a new experience, an opportunity to have fun, build friendships, and create beautiful memories with people who have been supporting and journeying with them through the years.

🙏 Sunday: A Celebration of Faith, Partnership, and New Beginnings

Sunday began with a meaningful Worship Service that became even more special as Pastor Danzhiel Macalindol, a former CMSP beneficiary and now a pastor, shared God’s message.

His message, entitled “Faithful Partner,” beautifully reflected the spirit of the celebration—reminding everyone of God's faithfulness and the importance of standing together as faithful partners in His work.

It was truly inspiring to see a former CMSP beneficiary, whose life was nurtured through the care and support of CMSP and its faithful partners, now standing before everyone as a pastor and sharing God’s Word. His journey is a beautiful testimony to how faithful partnership can nurture lives, fulfill dreams, and raise future leaders who will, in turn, serve and inspire others.

The celebration continued with a joyful Luncheon Fellowship together with around 30 members of the CMSP Harvest, led by President Elaidia Baria.

May our friendship and partnership continue to grow stronger as we continue to be faithful partners in bringing hope, nurturing dreams, and transforming lives—together.

23 Years of Friendship and Partnership: +one (プラスワン)Celebrates with CMSP 🎉🇯🇵🇵🇭

CMSP was truly blessed to welcome our dear friends from Plus One, led by President Hiroyuki Seino, as they celebrated their 23rd anniversary with the CMSP family at the Children’s Village.

For 23 years, Plus One and CMSP have shared a meaningful partnership built on friendship, love, trust, and a common commitment to bring hope and opportunities to children.

The visit began with a special shopping treat that brought great excitement and happiness to our children.

Our CMSP family warmly welcomed our dear friends from Japan through a meaningful program and special presentations by the children. We were grateful for the presence and support of Atty. Esther Zaldivar and Ms. Dinah Macaranas, who joined us on this special occasion.

SUNDAY: A Day of Thanksgiving and Celebration 🙏💦🎶

🙏 Thanksgiving Service
Sunday began with a meaningful Thanksgiving Service. Pastor Alfredo Casanova, CMSP Vice Chairperson, shared an inspiring and timely message entitled “In Due Season,” based on Galatians 6:9. His message reminded us not to grow weary in doing good and that, in God's perfect time, we will reap the harvest if we do not give up.

Inspiring messages were also shared by Executive Director Rose Salvani and Chairperson Dinbo Macaranas, expressing gratitude for Plus One's 23 years of friendship and faithful support.

💦 Summer Festival
The celebration continued with a fun-filled Summer Festival! The children enjoyed exciting games and challenges, special treats for accomplishing tasks, and, of course, lots of joyful water splashing! 😄

🎶 Plus One Special Presentation
Plus One capped the celebration with a wonderful special presentation, including their heartfelt rendition of a Tagalog song.

Another highlight was the surprise collaboration between Shoichi of Reeracoen and the CMSP musicians in performing Reeracoen's theme song, “I'm Here for You,” inspired by the spirit of the CMSP family—being there for one another with love, encouragement, and hope.

🎒☔ We are also deeply grateful to Kenji Naito, one of the original members and leaders of Plus One, for his thoughtful personal donation of quality school bags, umbrellas, and raincoats for our children. We are especially proud and grateful that Kenji officially became a member of the CMSP General Membership last March, further strengthening his commitment and connection to the CMSP family.

Thank you, our dear Plus One family, for celebrating this milestone with us and for your continued love and support through the years.

All three are hearing impaired beneficiaries whose journey with CMSP began when they were still in Kindergarten. ✨ Celebrating Milestones, Gratitude, and Inspiring Journeys ✨

With hearts full of joy and thanksgiving, we celebrate the Moving-Up Ceremonies of our children at the Calaca Day Care Center and Pinagbuhatan! 🎓💙 It was a beautiful and meaningful occasion, marking not only the achievements of our young learners but also the collective effort of a community that nurtures and believes in them.

We are especially blessed to have welcomed back our former beneficiaries as guest speakers—living testimonies of hope, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness.

In Calaca, Catrina Marasigan (Batch 2005), now a Certified Public Accountant, inspired us with her journey of excellence as a cm laude graduate of Batangas State University in Accountancy.

In Pinagbuhatan, Melvin Troy Talattad (Batch 2008) shared his remarkable story—graduating magna cm laude in Social Work from the University of the Philippines Diliman, ranking 10th in the 2024 Social Work Licensure Examination, and now pursuing his law degree at PUP College of Law.

Their lives remind us that dreams do come true when nurtured with love, discipline, and opportunity. 🌱
