Today, September 20, 2026, marks the 128th birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda, whose vision helped us to build a movement that continues to empower girls and young women to lead, serve, and make a difference.

Through her life and sacrifices, Josefa Llanes Escoda demonstrated that women possess a vital role, strength, and the capacity to serve the nation on equal footing with anyone else.

🇵🇭 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲: 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🇵🇭
Last September 18, 2026, the Girl Scouts of Santolan High School together with the Boy Scouts gathered for a flag-raising ceremony to honor the Philippine flag and recognize modern-day Filipino heroes.

The 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 is a part of the 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 Month Activities this September.

As the Philippine flag rises, may we also raise our sense of discipline, responsibility, patriotism, and love for our country. Let every salute be a reminder that even as students, we have a role to play in building a better nation.

🎗☘️ 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 ☘️🎗
On September 13, 2026, the Girl Scouts of Santolan High School together with the Boy Scouts gathered for the opening of the Barangay Santolan sports league.

The event became a wonderful and memorable celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, friendship, and community spirit. It brought people together in an atmosphere filled with excitement, encouragement, and camaraderie, allowing everyone to showcase not only their skills and talents but also their respect and support for one another.

More than just a competition, the event provided an opportunity for participants to build meaningful connections to everybody.

🇵🇭 ☘️ 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙄𝙣 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨, 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙄𝙣 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 ☘️ 🇵🇭

On this day, we honor the brave men and women who fought, served, and sacrificed their lives for our freedom and future. Their courage reminds us that true heroism is not only found in great acts, but also in the everyday choice to help, care, and serve our fellow Filipinos.

It also reminds us that being a hero is not only about great acts of bravery—it can mean serving others, helping our country and community, and
standing up for what is right.

🇵🇭 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 "𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆" 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿. 𝟰𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆. 🇵🇭

Today, we commemorate the life of our Former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., a Filipino who stood firmly for freedom, democracy, and for a better future for the Philippines. His courage to speak out and fight for what he believed was right came at a great personal cost, but his sacrifice became a powerful symbol of the Filipino spirit.

Ninoy Aquino's life reminded us that true patriotism is not only about loving your country, but also about having the courage to stand for the truth, justice, and the right of our fellow Filipinos.

As we remember his life and sacrifice, may we also reflect on our responsibility as Filipinos—to remain united, to stand for what is right, and to contribute to a better and more peaceful nation. May his legacy live on not only through history, but through the actions we take for our country and for one another.

Our heartfelt thanks to Rescue 117 Emergency & Disaster Response Unit for generously sharing your time, knowledge, and expertise. Your guidance has empowered our scouts to be more prepared, responsible, and ready to serve the community. 🚨

🍀 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 🍀

A Scouts duty goes far beyond the uniform. It means being ready to respond, willing to serve, and prepared to make a difference whenever someone is in need.

Kudos to all our Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who gathered at the Santolan High School grounds last 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 for the 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 & 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 learning proper bandaging techniques to practicing essential emergency response skills, everyone showed genuine dedication and willingness to learn

Our deepest appreciation to the 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝟭𝟭𝟳 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 & 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 for equipping our scouts with practical, life-saving skills.
