Venture for Fund Raising

Venture for Fund Raising What do we do? We do this by designing ethical, inspiring, and excellent fund raising solutions which include training, research, and mentoring.

We are a non-profit organization that provides fund raising and corporate social responsibility training, consulting, research, and public information programs to the "Givers" (donor entities) and the "Askers" (non-profits). Venture for Fund Raising is a 22-year old non-profit that continues to make a difference by helping other non-profit organizations generate resources to fulfill their missions

. Our extensive exposure to and experience in working with non-profit and non-governmental organizations has placed us in a unique position to influence ‘givers’ – corporations, individual donors and other philanthropic agencies, to practice ‘deliberate’ giving. We assist in facilitating this decision-making process through a number of structured interventions. One example is the role we play as a resource partner for corporations who are at various stages of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. Who have we helped? To date, we have helped over 1,200 local and international organizations involved in diverse causes and sectors including children's welfare, education, environment, human rights, IP rights, housing, humanitarian aid, faith/religion, arts and culture, and many more. How can we help raise funds for your organization? Our year-round basic and short courses offer organizations the opportunity to learn fund raising skills through dynamic and highly interactive workshops, lectures given by experienced and experts in fund raising, discussion with fellow fund raisers and non-profit managers, along with role-playing activities with actual donors and philanthropists. Training and consulting services may be customized for organizations that wish to send at least 15 participants to each course. Last July 15-17, 2026, Venture for Fund Raising was thrilled to once again join the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), Philippine Institute of Certified Accountants (PICPA) and the PICPA Foundation in Cebu for the third run of this year’s Financial Stewardship for NGOs training!

This impactful 3-day activity provided a dynamic space for nonprofit leaders and finance officers to sharpen their skills in financial management and long-term sustainability.

Representing Venture on the second day, our Deputy Executive Director, Ms. Kiel Fernandez, led a timely and practical session on “Diversifying Revenue Streams,” which is crucial to help organizations discover other funding sources to support their programs amidst the changing financial landscape.

We extend our deepest gratitude to PCNC, PICPA, and the PICPA Foundation for their continued partnership in these vital capacity-building initiatives.

We are going back to Manila! Join the next run of the Financial Stewardship for NGOs Training in Manila this September 2-4, 2026 to collaborate, build long-term financial resilience, and advance stewardship across the Philippine nonprofit sector.

For registration and inquiries, you may reach out to PCNC via email at [email protected] or visit their website for more information. See you there!
