Ngayong Agosto 2026, buong galak nating ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika na may temang "𝑾𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝒂𝒕 𝑨𝑰: 𝑲𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒔𝒊𝒌 𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒔𝒂 𝒀𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏." 🤖🧠

Binibigyang-diin ng temang ito ang kahalagahan ng Wikang Filipino sa panahon ng makabagong teknolohiya. Sa wastong paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI), mas napapalawak ang access sa impormasyon at napapadali ang pananaliksik, habang patuloy na napangangalagaan at napauunlad ang ating pambansang wika at kultura.

Nagsimula ang pagdiriwang bilang Linggo ng Wika noong panahon ni Pangulong Sergio Osmeña bilang pag-aalala sa kaarawan ni Manuel L. Quezon, ang Ama ng Wikang Pambansa. Noong Enero 15, 1997, sa pamamagitan ng 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝑩𝒍𝒈. 𝟏𝟎𝟒𝟏, pinalawig ni Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos ang pagdiriwang upang maging isang buong buwan tuwing Agosto.

Mula Agosto 1 hanggang 31, inaanyayahan ang bawat isa na makiisa sa mga gawaing nagtataguyod ng pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika. Sana magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito upang patuloy nating gamitin, mahalin, at pagyamanin ang Wikang Filipino bilang sagisag ng ating pagkakakilanlan at bilang tulay tungo sa kaalaman, pagkakaisa, at pag-unlad.
