A New Chapter Begins for Rotary District 3800!

We proudly join fellow Rotarians in celebrating the District Handover and Induction Ceremony, formally welcoming Rotary Year 2026-2027 under the inspiring theme “Create Lasting Impact,” led by our new District Governor, Celso Montalla. 🌟

This meaningful event, held last July 4, 2026 at Shangri-La Hotel, brought together District officers and Club Presidents in a fitting tribute to the outgoing Rotary Year 2025-2026, themed “Unite for Good,” under the leadership of Immediate Past District Governor Gina Sanchez.

Representing the Rotary Club of Dela Paz Marcos High, we were honored to have our Immediate Past President Pedro Romeo Evangelista pass the torch to our incoming High Impact President Arlene G. Mendoza, a proud moment marking our club’s continued commitment to service. 🤝

🌟 Gearing Up for a Great Rotary Year! 🌟

The Rotary Club of Dela Paz Marcos High kicked off Rotary Year 2026–2027 with our first Club Planning Meeting on July 7. Under the leadership of Club President Arlene G. Mendoza, the team rolled up their sleeves to set the tone for an impactful year ahead.

Among the highlights: committee chairs were assigned across Club Administration, Membership, Public Image, Service Projects, The Rotary Foundation, New Generations, International Service, and Ways & Means - putting the right people in the right seats to serve. 💪

The team also began preparations for two visits on the calendar: the upcoming Governor's Visit on August 19 and our recent AG Visit on July 20 - both key moments as we present our club's plans and high-impact projects for the year.

And because Rotarians know how to balance purpose with fun, planning is also underway for Dance & Jam, a special fundraising night celebrating our club's 10th anniversary! 🎉🕺

Here's to a year of service, fellowship, and lasting impact. Onward, Rotary Club of Dela Paz Marcos High! 🙌

Troubling developments involving violence instigated by young Filipinos have recently been making headlines. Is the current social environment surreptitiously affecting the way our youth think, feel and act? Have we been doing enough to address this growing issue?

Positive Mind Care (PMC) is a powerful, game-changer that creates lasting impact in the lives of its beneficiaries and practitioners.

A unique, proprietary system created by Centree E-Therapy Hub* and promoted in partnership with the Rotary Club Dela Paz Marcos High, PMC is a radical departure from the conventional, largely unsustainable mental health programs that companies, institutions and organizations have been accustomed to, even labeled as "gasgas na gasgas na" or "cliche" for the following reasons:

- PMC does not focus on mental health conditions, their recognition, treatment, and or prevention - effectively destigmatizing any potential limiting belief, usually associated with anything labeled "mental health". Instead,

- PMC harnesses the powerful, limitless potential of the mind: the proactive consciousness that helps one determine the life he or she desires, and practice simple yet scientifically proven interventions and techniques to manage and overcome negative thoughts, emotions and limiting beliefs

- PMC provides an effective toolbox to manage the thoughts and triggers that instigate fear, anger, sadness, resentment, disappointments, hopelessness, limiting beliefs, and other negative emotions

- PMC is founded on neuroscience, and uses the power of "neuroplasticity" to positively reprogram the subconscious, automatic mind to discard negative habits, self-defeating beliefs and build the necessary building blocks for a better life

- Through consistent rehearsal and practice of simple PMC interventions and techniques, one is able to modulate and self-regulate negative, self-defeating thoughts and emotions, effectively triggering the brain's reticular activating system (RAS), that alerts and opens the door to opportunities - and the motivation to actively pursue them

In today's rapidly evolving world where humanity is constantly bombarded with massive information and communications overload, "the ability to manage thoughts and regulate emotions is quickly becoming the premiere skill needed to effectively live with purpose, and thrive in the 21st Century". These skills are however, hardly learned at home or in the traditional academic setting. And yet, these are the key capabilities required to build the mental fortitude and emotional resilience that are essential for success.

Thoughts become things. Neuroscientific evidence shows this as fact. The thoughts we constantly harbor in our mind, whether consciously or unconsciously - and their consequential emotions, are key in determining a person's personal reality. To change one's personal reality, we have to start with determining the kind of thoughts and emotions, which align with the life we desire, and recognize those that do not so that we can minimize and eliminate them.

The Positive Mind Care program empowers its participants and beneficiaries with the technical knowledge and ability to proactively determine and create the lives they so desire.

PMC also provides the right mental condition and attitude that will keep our youth from running into trouble - and from causing trouble to their respective communities.
