Since 1964, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) has worked with partners in the Philippines to strengthen democracy, promote social justice, and advocate for a fair and sustainable economy. We create spaces for dialogue, provide policy advice, and support movements that push for progressive change. We work to build a democracy that is inclusive and account

able. This means supporting political system reforms, strengthening civil society, and training young leaders to take part in decision-making. We stand for social justice by fighting for workers' rights, modernizing social protection, and ensuring that policies protect those most at risk. We push for a sustainable economy that benefits all, not just the few. Our work includes advocating for fair wages, climate action, and economic policies that prioritize people over profit. We focus on:

✅ Climate justice – Ensuring a just energy transition that puts communities before corporations.
✅ Trade unions and labor rights – Empowering workers to fight for fair wages, decent work, and strong social protections.
✅ Good governance – Supporting democratic institutions, electoral reforms, and active civic participation.
✅ The future of work – Addressing automation, digitalization, and migration to secure workers' rights.
