SCMAP – Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines president Pierre Carlo Curay called for closer collaboration between industry and government to address rising costs, supply chain disruptions, and the need for faster technology adoption and more sustainable practices.

Curay raised the issues in his opening remarks at the recent 2026 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference. He cited rising and logistics costs as a top concern for operators, compounded by flooding and other local disruptions that continue to strain supply chains.
