Nagpakitang-gilas ang ating Philippine Jiu-jitsu team sa kanilang pakikiisa sa 10th Ju-Jitsu Asian Championship sa Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Ang ating Youth Team ay nag-uwi ng 5 golds, 4 silvers, at 5 bronzes na naghirang sa kanila bilang 3rd best national U16 team sa patimpalak. Nagkamit ng mga gintong medalya sina Megan Louise Cabreros, Aleina Bella Salamillas, Zion Amir Regudo, Eavan Chang, at Gianna Isabella Cruz.

Silver medals naman ang nakuha nina Ysabelle Anne Tambunting, Sean Khale Juatan, Sebastien Blaize Cabanlig at Jin Gabriel Ong. Hindi naman nagpahuli ang mga atletang sina Chantal Valkyrie Lu, Christopher Matthew Cruz, at Mara-Alexandria Sarinas na nakakuha ng bronze medals.

Ang ating Adult Team naman ay nagkasungkit ng 1 gold, 1 silver, at 4 bronze medals sa patimpalak. Nakuha ni Jiu-jitsu veteran Annie Ramirez ang gintong medalya sa Female -57 kg. Ang silver naman ay nagmula kay Joanne Pauline Tan ng Female -70kg. Bronze medals naman ang naiuwi nina Dylan Chrystle Reign Valmores, Eliecha Zoe Malilay, at Emily Rosalynn Thomas.

Maraming salamat sa buong pusong pagwawagayway ng bandila ng Pilipinas sa mga international na patimpalak! Mabuhay ang ating mga atletang Pilipino!

Day 3 of the World Championships is in the books, and Team Philippines brought the heat! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡­πŸ”₯

Our U16 youth team was absolutely on fire today, dominating the mats and winning so many medals! Our young athletes hauled in an incredible number of podium finishes, including an amazing five Gold medals. We couldn’t be prouder of the Puso and Galing they showed on the world stage!

As the youngest cohort stepping onto the world stage, our athletes showed absolute heart, technical brilliance, and incredible composure at the U14 World Cup! We are beyond proud of the entire team for leaving it all on the mats and flying the Philippine flag high.
