During the olden days when photographers used to process and develop film in physical darkrooms, they needed to make sure that no external light would leak in or else their photos would be ruined. Safelights are those red or amber lights that photographers use to see in the darkroom so they can properly develop their photographs. AFELIGHT's goal is to become a "light to the world" by serving people through photography. Whether it's reminding the brethren that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) or that our God is the inventor of photography (Genesis 1:3) and that all of the people, places and things that we visually encounter are from Him, SAFELIGHT continues to direct people to the Great Artist and the True Master Photographer. All in all, SAFELIGHT aims to always brings back all of the glory to Jesus (Psalm 115:1) as the volunteers focus on an Audience of One (Colossians 3:23) and keep on clicking for The King!
