TULOY ANG PAG-ABOT NG TULONG SA GITNA NG HAMON SA KABUHAYAN

Sa patuloy na pagtaas ng gastusin at epekto ng krisis sa langis, nananatiling hamon ang paghahanapbuhay para sa maraming pamilya sa Tingloy, Batangas.

Bilang tugon, bumisita ang Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF) sa Brgy. San Juan upang magsagawa ng relief pack distribution at focus group discussion (FGD) kasama ang mga fisherfolks and tricycle drivers sa komunidad. Nakapagbahagi tayo ng food packs na naglalaman ng rice, canned goods, noodles at iba pang essential goods sa halos 132 households.

Sa pamamagitan ng simpleng tulong at pakikinig sa kanilang mga karanasan, hangad naming maiparamdam na hindi sila nag-iisa sa pagharap sa mga pagsubok na ito.

Nagpapasalamat kami sa mga katuwang namin para maiabot ang aming tulong para sa kanila. Kabilang rito ang Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc., gayundin ang LGU ng Tingloy sa pangunguna nina Mayor Larry Alvarez at Vice Mayor Dra. Mikee Alvarez.

Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF) has recently turned over stipends to our scholars under the Alay sa Batang Rizal program.

The Alay sa Batang Rizal program, in partnership with Gabay G**o, was launched in 2023 in honor of Mr. Benito Pangilinan, MPIC Chairman, President, & CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan’s grandfather and former DepEd Division Superintendent of Rizal.

TULOY ANG MALASAKIT AT PAGTULONG!

Bumisita ang Metro Pacific Investments Foundation kasama ang Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc. sa Brgy. Maninila, Guinobatan, Albay para mamahagi ng relief packs para sa ating mga kapatid na naapektuhan ng matinding ashfall dulot ng pag-aalburuto ng Mt. Mayon.

Umaabot sa halos 120 pamilya ang nabigyan natin ng mga relief packs na naglalaman ng canned goods, bigas, kape, gatas, cup noodles, at ilan pang mga pantawid-gutom sa gitna ng nasabing sakuna.

Patuloy kaming kaisa ng komunidad sa pagbangon at pag-asa.

Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF) participated in the recent Conference Press Launch of the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) where MPIF showcased its flagship program, Shore It Up! (SIU), highlighting how community-driven efforts can deliver real environmental impact.

From coastal cleanups to Mangrove Propagation and Information Centers and the Marine Protection Inspection and Conservation Guardians programs, SIU continues to empower communities nationwide to protect and sustain their coastal and marine environments.

MPIF President Melody Del Rosario said:
“At its core, Shore It Up! is about bringing people closer to the environments they’re helping protect. When communities are directly involved, the shift goes beyond participation, it becomes part of how they care for their own surroundings, while allowing us to create meaningful impact through hands-on, community-led protection efforts.”

Across our 8 partner sites, thousands of volunteers came together at sunrise to take action—clearing our coasts and waters, and restoring life where it matters most.

From coastal and underwater cleanups to mangrove planting, this collective effort shows what’s possible when communities move with purpose.

✨ 2,894 volunteers
🌊 2.3 metric tons of trash collected
🧹 49,008 pieces of trash removed
🌱 600 mangroves planted

Every piece collected and every mangrove planted is a step toward healthier seas and stronger coastal communities.

Because real change doesn’t happen in just one hour—it grows through shared action, sustained commitment, and weekends like this.
