We stand together with people affected by crises around the world.

This World Humanitarian Day, we honor:

📢 The community members who are often the first responders, helping their neighbors, sharing what they have, and supporting one another in times of crisis.

📢 The humanitarian workers who selflessly prioritize others, working to save lives, protect dignity, and bring hope to people facing difficult circumstances.

📢 Everyone who keeps showing up, helping others, and choosing compassion over indifference.

Humanitarian action is not only about what we provide, but also about standing with people, listening to their needs, protecting their dignity, and walking alongside them through difficult times.

In times of crisis, let's continue to stand together, care for one another, and .

MEPD Mindanao Summit 2026: Advancing Solidarity and Collective Action for Migrants’ Rights ✨🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Across three meaningful days, we saw the true strength of regional solidarity in action. Bringing together grassroots organizations, local leaders, government agencies, and migrant families, this space proved that the most lasting solutions grow out of shared conversation and mutual respect.

Congratulations to Mindanao Migrants Center for Empowering Actions, Inc. (MMCEAI) for leading a remarkable event, and deep gratitude to every participant who helped turn our collective ideas into concrete commitments for migrant rights!

We recently concluded a two-day Paralegal and Case Management Training for Migrant Care and INFEST, community case workers, and village government officials from Blitar, Ponorogo, Banyuwangi, and Jember in East Java. 📣👏🏼

This initiative focused on practical skills for documenting, managing, and referring migrant worker cases. Participants also shared field experiences and explored digital tools to streamline coordination between village, regency, and provincial levels.

This event marks the first follow-up activity stemming from the Learning Exchange and Collaboration Workshop between Government and Social Structure Actors in East Java held in May 2026.

A heartfelt thank you to the GIZ Indonesia-Centres for Migration and Development (ZME) for a successful collaboration and for co-facilitating this activity.

Together, we remain committed to promoting safe migration and building stronger, community-based protection networks across East Java.✨🙏🏼

Behind many online fraud schemes are individuals coerced into forced labor. On this World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we shed light on those trapped behind the scam and advocate for stronger protections.

A fake job offer can become a trafficking trap.

Criminal networks lure people with promises of legitimate work. Instead, many are trafficked into scam operations, where they are stripped of their freedom and forced to carry out online fraud under threats, violence, debt and fear.

Preventing this crime requires stronger oversight of recruitment agencies, safe labour migration pathways and greater awareness of deceptive recruitment practices.

This World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, let’s shine light on the many human trafficking victims trapped behind scams.
