Ilang taon din ang lumipas. Ngunit hindi lumilipas ang araw na hindi namin sila inaalala. Kumusta na kaya sila? Nawa’y samahan nyo po kaming manalangin na maisakatuparan ang matagal na naming nais, ang makitang muli ang kanilang mga ngiti at ang kalagayan nila ngayon sa Sitio Banawen. 🙏

DAY 25 - We are GRATEFUL for the birth of Jesus Christ

Christmas celebration is one of our family’s most favorite holidays not because of the gifts we will receive but because we celebrate the truth that Jesus came to earth as a baby, fully God but also fully man, having the perfect plan to redeem sinners. Our hope is not in this world, but in Jesus Christ who came to die for sinners - and that is us. We are grateful that we can trust in the only ONE who is always faithful and always true.

We pray that Christmas is a time of great joy for you and your family that despite the challenges and struggles that the day sometimes comes with, we have a list of things that you can sit back, reflect on and be grateful for.

DAY 24 〰 We are GRATEFUL for the businesses and companies that continue to thrive this pandemic.

We were able to witness a lot of new online businesses grow this season. We are grateful for the companies and employers that tried their best to keep their employees. Through them we are able to receive God’s provision. And in return, we are able to be channel of blessings to others. The pandemic presented a lot of uncertainties and losses but still the giving and sharing of blessings continue ❤️

DAY 23 〰 We are GRATEFUL for the Nature.

One of our reliefs every outreach is the nature that we see. Far from the busy streets of the city, it is very refreshing to look at the sunset or even sunrise. You can have a breath of fresh air. No electricity means the stars are your light during the night. Fireflies looks like a christmas light if you are able to catch a glimpse of them.
These shows how even the nature is still part of God's creation.

DAY 22 〰 We are GRATEFUL for Sitio Cawag

Sitio Cawag is our first adopted community in Zambales.

We are grateful to them as they opened the door for us and ultimately to God.

We are also grateful for the parents and kids whom we had the opportunity to meet and share the good news of how God loves them. We are longing to see the smile in their face again.

DAY 21 〰 We are GRATEFUL for the Lord’s Guidance.

We cannot accomplish anything from the very start without His holy guidance. From the time we decided to start this movement, to what tribes we will reach out, what particular strategy and engagement to use, and to what presents and gifts we will be preparing for the community was all because of the leading given to us by God. We always seek for His presence for every decision making whether it may be big or small. We ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to come before us and show us the right way that God wants us to go. We are thankful for everyone who used by God as an intrument that helps us to do what we did before and to all the things we will keep on doing.

Lead the way Lord and we will follow you to places no one goes.

DAY 20 〰 We are 𝖦𝖱𝖠𝖳𝖤𝖥𝖴𝖫 for the vision that God planted through Hike for Christ Movement.

Hike for Christ was formed with one goal and vision - to share God's word to every tribe in the Philippines.

Seasons change, people come and go. There had been a lot of changes and movement in and out from the original core team. Though there had been a lot of changes, one thing remains,the mission and vision that God planted remains the same.

Through Hike for Christ, we have witnessed how God worked and provided despite uncertainties. We are always reminded that if it is God's work, He will be faithful to provide people, resources for His work and ministry. Truly God is faithful and He will be faithful to finish what He started.

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus."

DAY 19 〰 We are GRATEFUL for Every Season.

We are grateful for every season we encountered and for the seasons to come. We are together conquering every step of our journey.

We may be in a season where we are exploring and figuring things out or a season where we are settled, comfortable and happy.

What ever season we have in our life there will always be a space and time to be grateful

We may encountered difficulties in life but it is not enough to fade away our cheerful heart.

DAY 18 〰 We are GRATEFUL to feel Love and to share Love.

Love only grows by sharing it.
You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others.

Grateful for the opportunity to do it in the community. 😊

Day 17 〰 We're GRATEFUL for our "Nanays" in the Community.

Their warm welcome always encouraged our hearts after a long walk.
Their care and help whenever we need one.
Their smiles and laughters.
Their hunger to know Jesus more in their lives.

DAY 16 〰 We are GRATEFUL for all our Frontliners

As we continue to fight through this pandemic, we are in deepest gratitude and support to our frontliners- doctors, nurses, hospital staff, uniformed personnels, government office employees, and volunteers, who are serving the entire community. We are extremely grateful for your relentless faith, courage, and sacrifice. Everything you do, whether big or small, display the goodness of our God who protects and richly provides.

We are also grateful to our spiritual frontliners - our Pastors, leaders, and the church who are tirelessly praying to God to do signs and wonders as we are battling the crisis we are facing.

As we cap off the year, let's continue to honor and believe God together for miracles and breakthroughs for our nation.
