𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼

Behind every number is a child at risk of delayed growth and development.

In 2025, 1.62% of children under five or those aged 0–59 months are stunted.
This means thousands still need our attention.

The good news? Stunting is preventable.

Start early:
• Exclusive breastfeeding
• Proper complementary feeding
• Consistent care in the first 1,000 days

Every child deserves a strong start. Act now.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴?

The 2025 Operation Timbang Plus results show both progress and continuing challenges. While thousands of children are reached through monitoring, many are still affected by stunting, underweight, wasting, and even overweight and obesity.

Nutrition begins early. What we do today shapes a child’s future.
Let’s work together to ensure every child grows healthy and strong.

At the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council, we believe children aren't clay to be shaped, but individuals with inherent potential waiting to be unfolded. Our mission is to provide the guidance and protection they need to blossom into their best selves, ensuring their rights are always at the forefront.

Let’s work together to build a supportive environment where every young person has the space to grow, learn from their journey, and define their own bright future.

𝗕𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗲, 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮. 💜

Every girl has the right to accurate information, access to essential health services, and a safe, supportive environment where she can grow and thrive.

The Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) reaffirms its commitment to uphold and promote the rights and well-being of every girl, in line with its mandate to coordinate and strengthen policies and programs for children’s protection and development.

When girls are informed and empowered, they are more likely to stay in school, make healthy decisions, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Investing in girls today leads to stronger families, healthier communities, and a more equitable society.

This Girl Child Week 2026, let us continue working together to protect, empower, and uplift every girl—ensuring that no one is left behind.
