05.09.2026 | RCOC Club Assembly & Strategic Planning for RY 2026-2027

What a meaningful day of reflection, alignment, and vision-setting as we held our Club Assembly & Strategic Planning for RY 2026–2027 under the leadership of Incoming President Emman Endaya.

PE Emman began laying down the club’s strategic priorities for the next Rotary Year, presenting our SWOT Analysis based on the Club Health Check and Membership Satisfaction Survey: an honest look at where we are, where we’re strong, and where we can grow. Each committee likewise shared their goals and action plans, ensuring that every area of service is aligned with one shared vision.

As current president, GP Myron Montefalcon had the privilege of presenting our club’s portfolio of service projects—not through numbers or slides alone, but through the stories of lives touched, families empowered, and communities transformed by RCOC. Because at the heart of Rotary, every project has a face, a name, and a story.

In keeping with our tradition of empowering the next generation of leaders, our Rotaractors from Rotaract Club of Ortigas Center shared their strategic priorities through IPP Leo on behalf of PE Shad Faller, who was then representing the club at the GEAR Awards in General Santos—where RACOC proudly received an exemplary award this Rotary Year.

To cap the assembly, PE Emman presented the club’s resolutions, setting the tone for a purposeful, united, and impact-driven year ahead.

And because leadership is also about gratitude—GP Myron ended the day by giving sunflowers as a Mother’s Day treat to the amazing women of RCOC, whose strength, compassion, and quiet leadership continue to inspire us all. 🌻

Here’s to RY 2026–2027—aligned in purpose, united for good, and ready to create even greater impact.

As we fondly remember this meaningful day, its impact remains as fresh as ever in our hearts.

On the very first day of Rotary Year 2025–2026, District Governor Gina Sanchez and Rotary District 3800 launched Goodness for Kids—a beautiful reflection of Rotary’s spirit of service, compassion, and hope.

More than a project, it was a reminder that when Rotarians come together with purpose, lives are touched, smiles are restored, and futures become brighter.

Because every child deserves a chance to dream, grow, and thrive. 💙

WATCH: Rotary Club of Ortigas Center’s very own GP Myron Danielle Montefalcon was featured as studio guest on God Bless You of DZMM TeleRadyo, aired simultaneously on TV, radio, Facebook, and YouTube.

In this meaningful conversation, GP Myron shared his faith journey, leadership story, and passion for youth formation and community service, and how Rotary and his church ministry continues to be a platform for investing in the next generation.

From church ministry, youth mentorship, scholarships, Interact, Rotaract, and community projects—one message stood out:

When our purpose is anchored in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, service becomes impact.

Because somebody invested in us…
Now it’s our turn to invest in others.

THESE ARE NOT JUST STORIES.
THEY ARE OUR WHY.

Almost a year ago, in GP Myron’s inaugural speech, he shared stories of people whose lives were touched by Rotary. Stories that became the heart of our service projects this Rotary Year.

Reintroducing..

Nanay Sabel — once abandoned, frail, and alone. Today, she lives with dignity in Sinag Kalinga, our elderly care home in Lucban, Quezon.

The Aleria kids — born with congenital eye conditions, now seeing the beauty of this world through life-changing surgeries. This year, we strengthened our commitment to accessible pediatric eye care with our new corporate partner, ProVision Eye Care Network.

Mikaella — from an ICC Soup Kitchen scholar who nearly stopped school, to SK Chair, charter Rotaract president, real estate broker, taking her Masters at Ateneo School of Government, and now a Rotarian. Proof that investing in education changes generations.

Ashley — a child living with epilepsy. Through Project Sparks, we continue bridging the gap in access to medication, diagnostics, and hope. Thanks to First Kick for Peace Foundation for giving Ashley a new wheel chair.

The mothers of our ICC scholars — now building sustainable livelihoods through Gumugulong ang Pag-asa: Rotary Mobile Carts.

And finally, the pediatric patients of the National Children’s Hospital — bringing quality eye care closer to indigent children, made possible through a Global Grant from The Rotary Foundation.

In many communities, opportunity often arrives in small but meaningful ways—sometimes even on wheels. This is the story behind Gumugulong ang Pag-asa (Cycle of HOPE), a district grant project of the Rotary Club of Ortigas Center, designed to provide dignified and sustainable livelihood to families of its scholars.

More than a healthcare initiative, KISLAP-MATA reflects Rotary’s enduring mission of Service Above Self. It is a collective vision brought to life—one where partnerships transcend borders, compassion drives action, and every child is given the chance to see the world clearly and pursue their fullest potential.

On April 9, 2026, the Rotary Club of Ortigas Center (RCOC), in partnership with the National Children’s Hospital, marked a defining milestone toward a future where no child is left behind due to poor vision. With a staggering 1:40,000 ratio of pediatric ophthalmologists and an estimated 2.8 million...

Welcoming one of our own back home—this time, as a Rotarian. 💙

From being an RCOC scholar and Batang Soup Kitchen, to serving as Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Ortigas Center, Mikaella Soriano now makes history as the first Rotaractor to become a Rotarian in RCOC. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Management at Ateneo School of Government, she continues to lead both in public service—as SK Chairperson of Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Pasig and Treasurer of Pasig SK Federation—and in her professional career in real estate and finance. Her long list of recognitions in youth governance and leadership speaks of a journey grounded in service, excellence, and impact.

We are proud to welcome Mikaella into the RCOC Family. Your story is a powerful reminder that when we invest in people, we build leaders who give back—and lead forward. 💫

14/04/2026

Today marks another significant milestone for Rotary Club of Ortigas Center as we sign a 3-year corporate partnership with to bring accessible eye care, timely intervention, and preventive treatment to more communities.

: Last September 5, 2025, PP Boy Yaptinchay delivered his Classification Talk on Real Estate Development. He shared his humble beginnings, including a long-term assignment in Iraq and Kuwait, and his ‘funny’ journey to founding Meridien Development Group, Inc, a company known for building high-rise condominiums in central business districts in the country. Today, he continues to make an impact as Co-Managing Director of Century Properties Group, Inc.

His timeless advice to young members: “Never burn bridges”. A good name builds lasting relationships. True to this, PP Boy remains a proud and active charter member of RCOC.
