PAFMI held its 2026 Strategic Planning with the full attendance of its Board of Directors, together with the Committee Heads and Secretariat. The session focused on reviewing the Association's goals through a SWOT analysis and organizational maturity assessment, discussing the budget forecast, identifying each committee's top priorities, and setting the next steps for PAFMI.

PAFMI successfully concluded its 3rd General Membership Meeting, bringing together members and industry partners for an afternoon of learning, industry updates, and meaningful discussions.

The meeting opened with the President's Report by Mr. Teddy C. Deocares, followed by informative presentations from the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), Adisseo Philippines Inc., and Adcaelum Packaging Corp. Topics covered included the latest BPI regulatory and program updates, innovations in liquid methionine, and packaging solutions for the feed industry.

A highlight of the meeting was the lively open forum and Q&A session, where members actively asked questions, shared their insights, and exchanged ideas with our speakers. The discussions made the session more engaging and provided valuable takeaways for everyone.

The Philippine Association of Feed Millers, Inc. (PAFMI) commends NBI Director General Melvin Matibag, the National Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Agriculture–Inspectorate and Enforcement (DAIE) for their efforts in protecting the integrity of the agricultural sector.

The recent operation highlights the importance of strict enforcement of regulations governing agricultural inputs. Holding violators accountable through appropriate sanctions is essential to protecting farmers, preserving fair competition, and maintaining confidence in the feed and livestock industries.

PAFMI remains committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Our member companies continuously work to ensure that the feeds and feed ingredients they produce contribute to animal health, farm productivity, and the country's food security.

In the same vein, we call on the public to patronize legitimate and registered livestock feeds only for the safety of the consuming public. PAFMI encourages everyone to report to the NBI and DA any spurious products that could endanger not only local livestock but public safety as well.

PAFMI and USSEC formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on May 28, 2026, strengthening their shared commitment to supporting the growth, sustainability, and competitiveness of the Philippine feed and livestock industries.

The following day, PAFMI joined the celebration of USSEC Philippines' 30th Anniversary, which featured a seminar on Animal Nutrition Basics and a commemorative program highlighting three decades of partnership and service to the agricultural sector.
