AIMS NAUTICA SOCIETY is the organization arm of the Department of Marine Transportation through which it helps the institution in rendering services for the welfare of the students. The organization continues its commitment in providing assistance for the MT students; also, it extends a helping hand to other students of other departments in AIMS. The organization established its effective manageme
nt and leadership on its first year being operational under the leadership of Founding President Mico Mark L. The organization aims to develop skills and talents of its constituents, it also conducts seminars and trainings to improve the quality of leaders and members they have. The AIMS NAUTICA SOCIETY is being after to the potential of every student they have in the department. It also helps the students to become an effective leader and a good follower. Under the office of Center for Student Services and Students and Alumni Services, the organization enables to conduct programs and activities that bring positive impact to the academic community. It enables the organization to conduct trainings and seminars for additional knowledge regarding the seafaring industry. It also permits the conduct of activities for more inter-action within the students of the department. Semilla, the organization reenergized its strong commitment to formulate new plans for the development of project and activities that organization is planning to conduct this year. The organization is ready for the next wave of more leaders being active this year and provides excellent service for the student.
