July 30, 2026, marked the successful General Assembly of the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS) School of Maritime Business (SMB) Department. This was followed by the General Assembly for the Hospitality Management program later that day.

Last August 19 and 20, second-year students of BSHM participated in an experiential seminar and workshop conducted at Astoria Plaza in Pasig.

The itinerary featured applied learning sessions with executive culinary professionals, observational analysis of commercial bakeshop operations, and a systematic hotel familiarization tour encompassing administration, amenities, and food and beverage service delivery.

By seeing how the hotel works in real life, students learned how important teamwork, good service, and daily hard work are in the hospitality industry.
