A Family Case Conference is an important step in the child reunification process. It provides an opportunity for the family to understand their roles and responsibilities, as well as those of the institution, City Social Welfare and Development Office, and other concerned partners, in supporting the child’s safe and successful return home.

Through open communication and collaboration, everyone gains a clear understanding of the support, commitments, and follow-up needed to ensure the child’s safety, protection, well-being, and successful reintegration into the family.

SPECS Foundation brought together children from our partner communities for a day of fun, friendship, and friendly competition at the Palanyag Gymnasium on September 19, 2026.

With the theme “Palarong Pinoy: Pagkakaisa sa Bawat Laro, Saya sa Bawat Puso,” the event reminded us that every game is an opportunity to build teamwork, friendship, and joyful memories. 💚

💬 Listening to Youth, Empowering Change

SPECS Foundation recently gathered young people from our communities in Cavite, Pasay, Parañaque, and Angono for a Youth Focus Group Discussion on “Understanding Root Causes of Harmful Behavior to Empower Youth-Led Solutions.”

We created a safe space where young people could freely share their experiences, thoughts, and perspectives. By listening to their voices, we gain a deeper understanding of the issues affecting them and help empower them to become part of the solution. 💚
