The children enjoyed an Educational Outdoor Activity at Manila Zoo, where they had the opportunity to learn about different animals, their habitats, and the importance of wildlife conservation. The experience sparked their curiosity and allowed them to gain knowledge beyond the classroom while appreciating the beauty of nature.
During the reflection session, the children shared that they were happy and excited to see different animals up close. One child thoughtfully reflected, "Katulad ng mga hayop na nasa Manila Zoo, ang buhay namin ay may mga taong nag-aalaga at nagmamahal sa amin sa Foundation." This heartfelt realization demonstrated the children's appreciation for the care, guidance, and support they receive from the Foundation. The activity not only enhanced their learning but also encouraged gratitude, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of the importance of having a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow, heal, and thrive.
After the zoo visit, the children proceeded to Quirino Grandstand, where they spent quality time enjoying the wide open space through games, free play, and social interaction. Activities such as badminton, habulan base, and group bonding encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and friendship among the children while allowing them to enjoy the outdoors and create meaningful memories together.
The experience serves as a reminder that some of the most valuable lessons are learned through exploration and shared experiences. By providing opportunities for children to discover, interact, and have fun, we help create an environment where they can continue to grow, develop resilience, and feel supported as they journey toward a brighter future.
