The 134th Department of Military Science and Tactics (Affiliated) at the City University of Pasay, together with the City University of Pasay Corps of Cadets, came together on 18 August 2026 to extend assistance to families affected by the recent fire incident at Barangay 51, Dandan Street, Pasay City.
The initiative was conceptualized by C/MAJ JANG GEUM G FLORES 1CL and C/MAJ ACE WINNARD C COLIFLORES 1CL, whose idea to organize a relief donation drive became an opportunity for the Corps of Cadets to unite and extend meaningful assistance to the affected families.
With the support and participation of fellow cadets, donations were gathered and distributed to those in need. Despite the challenges brought by the weather, the spirit of bayanihan, compassion, and service remained strong throughout the activity.
The initiative reflected the Philippine Air Force Core Values of INTEGRITY, SERVICE ABOVE SELF, TEAMWORK, EXCELLENCE, PROFESSIONALISM, demonstrating that leadership is not only about holding a position or rank, but also about taking initiative, inspiring others, and serving the community when help is needed most.
The City University of Pasay Corps of Cadets extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and resources to this meaningful cause.
From an idea to an act of service-one initiative, many helping hands, one community
