Senior High ABM Quiz Bowl 2025

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) – Western Samar Chapter, in partnership with the Institute of Local Accountants of Samar (ILAS), successfully conducted the Senior High ABM Quiz Bowl last September 12, 2025, at the Social Hall of Samar National School, Catbalogan City.

A total of 24 Senior High ABM students from 12 participating schools showcased their wit and knowledge, with the full support of their dedicated coaches and teachers.

2025 PICPA VGAO-EVR CONFERENCE

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Visayas Geographical Area Office (VGAO) and Eastern Visayas Region (EVR) invite you to the 2025 PICPA VGAO-EVR CONFERENCE to be held in Brooke’s Place, Dumaguete City on May 29-30, 2025.

PICPA Eastern Visayas Region Government Summit 2025 Successfully Hosted by PICPA Western Samar Chapter

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Western Samar Chapter proudly hosted this year’s PICPA Eastern Visayas Region Government Summit 2025 on April 4, 2025, at Tandaya Hall, Catbalogan City, Samar.

With the theme “Values Above All: Becoming Better Public Servants Toward Efficient Fiscal Governance,” the summit gathered professionals from across Samar for a day of insightful discussions and knowledge sharing.

The event kicked off with the smooth registration of participants, efficiently facilitated by the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), St. Mary’s College of Catbalogan Chapter.
