We are BATOSAY, a youth-led organization committed to empowering the next generation of leaders through civic engagement, education, and action. As young people who believe in the power of informed voices and collective responsibility, we want to share a few words in light of the recently concluded elections.
As the elections come to a close and the winners are proclaimed, we raise our voices in celebration—not just for those who won, but for the youth who stood up, spoke out, and had the courage to educate and empower others to vote wisely.
We’ve seen a glimpse of a future led by informed, passionate young people—those who take elections seriously, who don’t just rely on what older generations say, but go the extra mile to research, verify, and make conscious choices.
To the winners: congratulations on earning the people’s trust.
To those who didn’t make it—your efforts, your pure intentions, and your love for the community and the country do not go unnoticed. May you find the strength and the will to rise and try again.
Remember: even those who stand victorious today have faced setbacks. What sets them apart is that they chose to keep going.
And to our newly elected officials—may you stay true to your promises. Support does not mean silence. We will cheer when you serve, and we will speak when you fall short. Because accountability is how real change begins.
