One of the biggest fears among Pinoy EV buyers is always the same:
👉 “Baka patay na ang battery pag mataas na ang mileage?”

A new large‑scale study from the UK (8000+ EVs) was just published — and the results might surprise you!

Most used EV batteries are still in EXCELLENT condition.
✅ Average EV battery health is over 95%
✅ Even 8–12‑year‑old EVs often stay around 90% battery capacity
✅ Many EVs with 100,000+ miles still perform close to brand‑new
✅ Battery warranty limits (usually 70%) are rarely reached

👉 Translation: Mileage alone is NOT a good way to judge EV battery life anymore.

Why this matters for PH buyers 🇵🇭
With fuel prices, traffic, and rising car costs in the Philippines:
• Used EVs are becoming more attractive
• Battery replacement fear keeps prices artificially low and oftentimes prevents vehicle purchasers shy away from EVs
• Data now shows most batteries outlive the car itself

The REAL issue isn’t battery failure— �🔍 it’s battery transparency and proper testing!

✔ Don’t reject a used EV just because of high mileage
✔ Ask for verified battery health testing
