FINALE

10/10. And that’s the end of the beginning, FYS… 🥹🤍

I don’t even know where to begin because somehow, this journey feels like something I’ll have a hard time putting into words.

From the very beginning, we were slowly introduced to what “UNITY” truly means. At first, it was just a word. But along the way, we realized that unity is found in the moments when we choose to stay, to help, to listen, to encourage, and to walk together even when the road becomes difficult.

We experienced it in every situation, every journey, every Mass, every laugh, every tired moment, and even in the little struggles that we had to overcome together. Looking back now, I realize that those moments we thought were ordinary are actually the memories we will probably miss the most someday.

We were tired. We were challenged. There were moments when we questioned ourselves and wondered if we could still continue. But somehow, there was always someone who would encourage us, someone who would say that we could do it, someone who would remind us not to give up.

And that is what made this journey beautiful.

We didn’t walk alone.

We walked with people who believed in us.

I am genuinely proud of every youth who showed up, participated, sacrificed their time, endured the journey, and continued despite the difficulties. Some of us may have different strengths and different limitations, but we learned that we don’t have to be the strongest individually when we can be stronger together.

And after almost two years of searching, wondering, and trying to understand where we belong, we finally found a little piece of the answer.

Maybe our role was never about being perfect.

Maybe it was simply about praying together, serving together, encouraging one another, and learning to love and care for each other as one community.

The journey taught us more than we expected. It taught us patience. It taught us courage. It taught us responsibility. It taught us that sometimes, the most meaningful memories are created in the moments when we are tired, when the road is difficult, and when all we can do is keep moving forward together.

To every youth who became part of FYS Round-up 2026, this is for you.

I salute you. Dearr FYS!

You are brave not because you never felt tired or afraid, but because you still chose to show up. You still chose to walk. You still chose to participate. You still chose to believe.

And someday, when we look back at these pictures, these videos, these places, and these memories, I hope we remember not only where we went, but who we became along the way.

I hope we remember the laughter.

The prayers.

The conversations.

The encouragement.

The struggles.

The people who stayed.

The people who helped.

The moments when we almost gave up but somehow found another reason to continue.

These are the memories that cannot simply be repeated. They happened once, with these people, in this moment of our lives. And that is what makes them so precious.

So before this chapter completely closes, let me say this:

Thank you, FYS.
Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for the lessons.
Thank you for the people.
Thank you for every moment that made this journey worth remembering.

May this experience become something we carry with us not just as a memory, but as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we choose UNITY over division, courage over fear, and love over indifference.

Good luck and God bless, FYS!

May the courage we discovered in this journey become the foundation for everything we will do next.

This may be the end of the beginning, but it is not the end of what we started.

Keep the faith. Keep the unity. Keep the love. Keep serving.

And someday…

until we round up again.

10/10 — every step, every struggle, every prayer, every laugh, and every memory was worth it.

Imagine traveling even it’s raining, all in on motorcycles(awan lugan mi e haha). It was very tiring for sure, but the laughs, the struggles, and the little moments along the way made it all worth it.

Wahhh it’s 6/10
Despite the muddy roads, the pushing, and the challenges along the way we can say that
God’s mission never stops.
Together with our supportive katandaan, we went by trike and motorcycles as we visited three churches for our youth round-up. Every muddy path reminded us that serving God isn’t always easy, but every step is worth it when it’s done with faith, love, and unity(jay unay agidurun)
Thank you to everyone who journeyed with us. Sabi nga ng iba, “super memorable yaw”. The road may have been rough, but our hearts were full with love, lessons and special memories. Job almost done FYS.

To God be all the glory!
