Manila, Philippines | The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) Manila 2026, happening on May 17, will take a different route this year—one that trades the traditional city parade for a more intentional, cause-driven gathering. In response to current national fuel conservation measures, organizers have announced a shift to a static event under the banner “Revs & Revelry,” reinforcing their commitment to men’s mental health and prostate cancer awareness while remaining mindful and sensitive to the times.
The revised format has been formally coursed through and approved by Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride global headquarters, ensuring alignment with the event’s international standards while adapting to local conditions.
While engines may stay off the road, the mission remains in full motion. The reimagined format brings together the DGR community in signature dapper style for an experience centered on connection, advocacy, and fundraising—proving that even without the ride, the cause continues to move forward.
“This decision wasn’t made lightly,” said Mark Laccay, DGR Manila Host “We fully support the call for fuel conservation and recognize the importance of collective responsibility. At the same time, we remain deeply committed to the causes at the heart of DGR—men’s mental health and prostate cancer awareness.”
Despite the absence of a parade, participants can still expect a thoughtfully curated gathering that reflects the spirit of the global movement—bringing together riders and supporters in classic style to spark conversations, strengthen community ties, and raise critical funds.
