February 25, 2026

Today the Filipino people commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution, a series of popular demonstrations in the Philippines mostly in Metro Manila, from February 22-25, 1986.

The 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution aimed to peacefully overthrow the 20-year dictatorship of the late President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos Sr., end systemic corruption and violence, and restore democratic institutions. Driven by massive, nonviolent protests along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, the goal was to unite citizens to reclaim their freedom and rights.

Valentine’s Day is here—a day to celebrate love in all its forms. 💌✨ Whether it’s the butterflies in your stomach, the quiet admiration for someone special, or the courage to express your feelings, love always finds a way to test our hearts.

In the narrative of Cupid and Psyche, love began in uncertainty. Psyche loved someone she couldn’t fully see, yet she chose to trust. Their story reminds us that love is not always loud or clear—it can start in silence, in admiration, and in hope. Just like Psyche, sometimes loving someone means having the courage to feel deeply, even when the outcome is unknown. It means believing that if love is true, it will survive doubts, distance, and trials. -`♡´-

This Valentine’s Day, we celebrate a love that is patient, brave, and willing to grow. 💘✨

𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧. 🕊️

🐚 𝑯𝑨𝑷𝑷𝒀 𝑭𝑰𝑩𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑪𝑪𝑰 𝑫𝑨𝒀!! 💫

Today, we celebrate the remarkable elegance of the 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲— 𝟭,𝟭, 𝟮, 𝟯, 𝟱, 8...—a simple pattern that reveals the deep connection between mathematics and the natural world.

The sequence is named after 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐚, widely known as 𝐅𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢, the 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 who introduced this pattern to the 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟮𝟬𝟮 through his book 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗶. Although similar ideas had appeared earlier in Indian mathematics, it was Fibonacci who popularized the sequence and demonstrated its usefulness in solving 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-world problems, allowing it to gain the recognition it has today. 🔰

From the 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒙𝒊𝒆𝒔 to the arrangement of sunflower seeds and pinecones, the Fibonacci sequence shows us that mathematics is not just abstract—it’s alive in 𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒂𝒓𝒕, 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏 and the world around us. It reminds us that even the simplest patterns can hold extraordinary meaning.

As we celebrate this special day, may we be inspired to observe, explore, and appreciate the hidden mathematical harmony woven into everything we see. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧. 🐚🌀

In celebration of 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, we are reminded once more of the boundless value of peace, unity, and understanding among nations. This year’s celebration embraces the theme:🕊️𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 🕊️

It reminds us that peace is not merely the absence of war, but the presence of 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞.🌎𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐬, 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 — 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭. 💛

As we take part in this meaningful month, may we carry within us the spirit of understanding, respect, and hope. For peace begins not in the grandeur of speeches, but in the quiet strength of a kind heart and an open mind. Let us celebrate Araling Panlipunan Month with hearts that listen, hands that help, and minds that seek truth and justice. 🌏💛
