Last year, our team was privileged to be part of the milestone anniversary of our brethren from the T. Pinpin & Gandara Neighborhood Fire Prevention Association, Inc., the Chinatown Fire Volunteers, as they celebrated 60 years of volunteerism and selfless service. 🚒✨

We witnessed their dedication in action—responding to fires, aiding communities in need, and spreading goodwill through medical missions and outreach programs. ❤️‍🔥🤝

TRIVIA: After the big fire incident in Binondo on February 22, 1964, the T. Pinpin - Gandara residents joined forces with their Nueva neighbors in fire prevention and firefighting activities within the area. 1965 saw the birth of the T. Pinpin & Gandara Fire Prevention Club. In 1968, it was officially registered with SEC as T. Pinpin Gandara Neighborhood Fire Prevention Association, Inc. For easy recall and convenience, we later came up with the name CHINATOWN VOLUNTEERS in 1978.
