Children’s Month Celebration
📍 TVCC-Naic
🗓️ November 29, 2025
Last November 29, we celebrated National Children’s Month, and once again, we were privileged to witness how gently yet powerfully God moves in the hearts of children. What we experienced that day was not just an event; it's a reminder of why we serve.
In the morning session, we talked about children’s rights, their worth, and the very purpose behind this national celebration. Many children shared that it was the first time they heard that they have rights… that they are protected… that their voices matter.
And isn’t that exactly the heart of God? That every child would know deep within themselves that they are seen, loved, and worth protecting.
We explained the four categories of children’s rights: Survival, Protection, Development, and Participation, and connected each one to God’s intention for them. To grow in safety, walk in truth, live with dignity, and experience joy. We were not just giving information; we're nourishing identity.
We also reminded them that while they have rights, they are also given responsibilities:
To honor their parents, study diligently, care for their bodies, show kindness, protect God’s creation, be honest, and walk in the love of Christ. And when they began sharing what they learned, it felt like watching little seeds being planted in good soil, seeds of identity, hope, courage, and purpose.
In the afternoon, the room was filled with laughter, games, and pure joy. It reminded us that childhood itself is one of God’s most precious gifts. Just as Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to Me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” That day, we did not just teach them; we celebrated them.
As everything came to a close, our hearts overflows with gratitude. Gratitude that God allowed us to teach, guide, and love these little ones. Gratitude that He reminded them, some for the very first time, of their immeasurable worth. Gratitude that He has entrusted us with the next generation, not because we are strong, but because His grace is enough.
As we continue serving, our prayer remains the same, that every child in Cavite, and every child across the world, grows up knowing this unshakeable truth:
You are loved by God.
You are protected by God.
You are created with purpose.
Happy National Children’s Month.
May we never grow tired of planting seeds that heaven will one day harvest. 🌱✨
