Spend another cozy afternoon with us at Solily Cafe PH for a poetry workshop that’s equal parts reflective, creative, and inspiring. ✨

We’ll start by reading and gently analyzing a few selected poems together—looking at how they create emotion, imagery, and meaning in simple but powerful ways. From there, you’ll ease into guided writing exercises designed to help you explore your own voice, whether you’re writing poetry for the first time or coming back to it.

There will also be space to share your work (only if you’d like!) and even bring a few favorite poems to talk about with the group—making this a relaxed, welcoming space for both writing and connection.

🗓 April 25 (Saturday), 1-4pm, in-person only!
☕ Free drink included with your registration

Come as you are, bring something to write with, and let’s spend an afternoon with words. ❤️🍹

some snaps from our creative writing workshop at 💞

as always, our hearts are full. i'm still beaming over the conversations that unfolded so naturally, the stories shared, and the friendships that began to take root in such an intimate space.

thal you to each and every one of you who showed up with openness, curiosity, and care—and to the lovely people of Solily Cafe: the owners, the baristas, the regulars, and everyone who helped make the space feel so welcoming and alive. truly grateful for this little pocket of community. 💐✨

we're holding another round of our content marketing workshop next month! 🎉

we literally just wrapped up our last session from our first batch. it brought me so much joy to see how our participants' grasp of their brand (their audience, their language, their strategy) completely transformed by the end of day 3. can't wait to experience this with more of you!! 🥹

special mention (not listed here) for Chuck Palahniuk — publishers rejected his novel Invisible Monsters because it was "too disturbing". this led to him writing his most famous novel, Fight Club, as an attempt to disturb the publisher more for rejecting him 😆 (they ended up loving it)

in some of our creative writing workshops, participants choose blindly from two piles: 1) a character 2) a quirk

then they're given time to come up with a backstory explaining why their character behaves this way

the first time we did this, it right away became a favorite activity among the community (it's one of my fave ones to facilitate too!!) people often surprise themselves with how creative they can get, thinking up a whole history for a character that didn't even exist until that moment

give it a try and see what you come up with!! 👀
