Every person has within him or her certain gifts from God. These are revealed by the things you dream of — what David calls “the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4). True satisfaction in life comes when you operate in your gifted areas. Nothing will make you happier than doing what God created you to do.

The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to every follower of Christ and activates those creative gifts hidden in the heart. At least three things will evidence a gift as something from God: (1) you will be good at it, (2) you’ll have an opportunity to use it, and (3) you’ll love to do it. God gave you gifts — find and use them.

The last step of life—the one into My arms—will be the culmination of a long journey. That last step will be the best step. I will be there to greet you, embrace you, and welcome you home. Then we will experience total joy together. I so look forward to that moment!

Your body is just plain tired from the wear and tear of life. Your heart is tired from all the pumping, your muscles are tired from all the movement, your nerves are tired from all the strain, and on and on it goes. But if you didn’t feel so tired and didn’t have all the aches and pains you do, you wouldn’t feel as much like leaving your old body behind and coming home to heaven. This is one way I have of preparing you to move on.

You can’t even imagine the wonderful things that await you in your heavenly home—best of all, the love. The love you will experience in heaven is the purest and deepest and richest kind. This love is perfect in every way, and it will make you feel more loved and more complete than you have ever felt before. It’s like nothing you have ever known before. What a day that will be—rest from your labors, joy for your sorrows, recompense for your giving, and eternal bliss in My heavenly kingdom of love!—Jesus

In Christ, we find belonging. Through him we revel in a joy without boundaries, a joy that never fades, a joy whose walls will never crumble to dust. As the road unwinds, Christ’s resurrection draws us into the perfect communion for which our souls ache. He restores us. He renews us.
