ANNOUNCEMENT: MATTI National Assembly

MATTI will be conducting a National Assembly to identify all active MATTI groups nationwide.

This assembly will also include the official renewal of membership for all Brown Belts and Black Belts. Only registered and renewed members will be eligible for nomination and participation in the election of regional and national officers.

As part of this initiative, updated MATTI guidelines on development, skills, and teaching will be introduced under the direction of Grandmaster Samuel Bambit Dulay, Chief Instructor of MATTI.

The Bantayog Sentinel Awards is envisioned as a unifying undertaking that convenes leaders, instructors, and practitioners from various Filipino Martial Arts organizations to acknowledge exemplary service and leadership, celebrate the sustained growth of the discipline, and strengthen bonds within the greater martial arts community.

The event will be held on 21–22 February and 26-27, 2026, with the following program:

PART I : February 21-22 : Manila

Day 1: International Training Seminar and Lakan/Dayang Recognition Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Intramuros, Manila.

Day 2: Bantayog Sentinel Awards Ceremony The Sentinel of Freedom Monument, Rizal Park (Luneta), Manila.

PART II : February 26-27 : Boracay Island

Day 1: International Training Seminar and Lakan/Dayang Recognition and Ceremony - Savoy Beach Resort, Boracay Island.

Day 2: 11th FMA Gala Night - Bantayog Sentinel Awardings and Recognition - Savoy Function Hall, Savoy Resort Hotel, Boracay Island.

This gathering seeks to promote unity, mutual respect, and a shared sense of purpose among Filipino Martial Arts organizations, while providing a formal platform for collaboration, education, and recognition.
