We are a non-stock, non-profit foundation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission, with the goal of helping families with children suffering from Biliary Atresia and other liver diseases in need of a liver transplant (Biliary Atresia is a condition where the liver does not have bile ducts and thus the buildup of the bile within the liver destroys it. Aside from helping these families nurture their B.A. babies, we provide guidance and assistance in their fund-raising activities to raise the P4 million needed for a liver transplant. Pediatric liver transplants can now be done at the Medical City along Ortigas Ave., under the pediatric liver transplant program established by Dr. Vanessa De Villa, formerly of the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsuing, Taiwan and Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, where she performed liver transplants on babies endorsed by the LIFT-B.A.B.I.E.S. Foundation.
