The Psychology Department has officially launched its Community Extension Program, "PROJECT H.O.P.E. (Helping Others with Positive Empowerment)," in partnership with Barangay San Dionisio and sponsored by Dr. Eric L. Olivarez. 🧠💙

Grounded in the Community Needs Assessment for S.Y. 2026–2027, this initiative focuses on vital mental health seminars and community projects.

Our extension projects directly support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, aligning with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).

Sa gitna ng pagsubok, maging liwanag at pag-asa tayo para sa ating mga kababayan.Ang Center for Community Extension and Multi-Faith Service (CCEFMS) ng Olivarez College ay kumakalap ng tulong para sa 124 pamilyang nawalan ng tirahan dahil sa kamakailang sunog sa Banana Compound, Barangay Vitalez, Parañaque City.

Maaari po tayong mag-abot ng tulong sa pamamagitan ng pag-donate ng mga sumusunod:

Our office successfully conducted an orientation for volunteer students and faculty regarding their community extension projects for this school year. The session outlined program-specific projects and provided guidelines for fieldwork ex*****on. Following the implementation of these projects, a post-extension orientation is held to address any concerns or issues experienced by the volunteers. This approach actively strengthens student and faculty participation, community engagement, and volunteerism.

The College of Health Sciences Education (CHSE) successfully held the first session of "Med-Reach," focusing on "Bantay Presyon" for senior citizens in our adopted communities with the help of YAKAP! 🩺❤️

During this session, student volunteers and faculty provided free blood pressure monitoring and conducted an interactive health talk on preventing and managing high blood pressure, as well as adopting healthy dietary and lifestyle habits for healthy aging.

A huge thank you to all the community leaders, senior citizens, and the Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Melanie Assistin, who helped make this health initiative a success!

The College of Teacher Education (CTE) has successfully launched the first day of the "Edukalye" extension program! 📚✨

On Day 1, our enthusiastic 1st-year and 3rd-year volunteer teachers met and connected with the wonderful child beneficiaries of the program.

A special thank you to Barangay San Dionisio for providing Barangay Tanods and transportation to ensure our volunteers' safety and arrival!
