A Movie Block Screening for a Cause

The Rotaract Club of Manila Supreme 198 successfully organized "Spider-Man: Brand New Day – A Movie Block Screening for a Cause," bringing together partners, supporters, and advocates for an evening of entertainment with a meaningful purpose. More than just a movie experience, the fundraising event aims to support a series of impactful community projects throughout the year, including Healthy Plate Before It's Too Late (July), Sight Saving (August), Apong Bahala Sayo (September), Isang Papel, Isang Tawag, Isang Buhay (October), and Holidaze Year 6: 12 Days of KrisMATs (December).

Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 Holds August Club Monthly Meeting, Team Visit & Strategic Planning Session

On August 1, 2026, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 successfully conducted its August Club Monthly Meeting, Team Visit & Strategic Planning (StratPlan) at Conti's, Vista Land Shaw Boulevard. The meeting was led by Impact Creating President (ICP) Leslie Tan Rivera and was highlighted by the presence of District Governor Bing Carrion, whose leadership and guidance inspired the club to continue creating meaningful and sustainable impact throughout the Rotary year.

The meeting was also honored by the attendance of Senior Deputy Governor (SDG) Eric Tayag of the RC Manila 101 and Assistant Governor (AG) Beth Capapas of the RC-UDM, demonstrating the spirit of collaboration and support within Rotary District 3810.

The program commenced with the Call to Order, followed by the Invocation, the Four-Way Test and Rotary Pledge, and the Introduction of Guests and Visiting Rotarians. Members were then introduced to the club's officers and warmly welcomed new members, reinforcing the club's commitment to membership growth and engagement. Plans for the upcoming Induction Ceremony and Fellowship Night were likewise discussed.

During the strategic planning session, members reviewed the club's key service initiatives, including the Flagship Project: FLOW, the launch of Project REFRESH, a recap of recent accomplishments, and the alignment of upcoming activities with the District Governor's 12-Point Challenge.

The meeting also focused on fundraising and partnership opportunities, featuring discussions on the Bongga Ka Day Fundraising Drive, a collaborative Spider-Man Block Screening with Rotaract, and preparations for the PolioPlus fundraising event, "End Polio Under the Savannah Moon."

The gathering concluded with an open forum, allowing members to exchange ideas, strengthen fellowship, and reaffirm their commitment to Rotary's mission of Service Above Self. With the guidance of District Governor Bing Carrion and the unified leadership of ICP Leslie Tan Rivera, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 continues to build a vibrant, service-driven, and impactful Rotary year.

102 SHARE Grande Tower

The Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198, under the leadership of Impact Creating President Leslie Tan Rivera and in full support of Rotary International District 3810 Governor Maria Rosa "Bing" Carrion, proudly unveils its flagship humanitarian initiative—the 102 SHARE Grande Tower Groundbreaking Ceremony.

This landmark project is a testament to Rotary's commitment to creating sustainable and life-changing opportunities for Filipino families by promoting safe, affordable, and dignified housing. Guided by the theme, "Building Christ-Centered Communities Through Faith, Housing, and Service," the development aims to provide 473 residential units within a modern, eco-friendly, and community-oriented high-rise designed to improve the quality of life of its future residents.

Developed in partnership with SHARE Foundation, Inc., Rafeli Realty Development Corporation, 102 SHARE Village VIII Homeowners Association, Inc., and supported by various public and private sector partners, the project demonstrates the power of collaboration in addressing one of society's most pressing needs—accessible and sustainable housing.

As RC Manila Supreme 198's flagship project, the 102 SHARE Grande Tower embodies Rotary's 2026–2027 theme, "Create Lasting Impact," by laying the foundation not only for a residential community but also for a future built on hope, compassion, service, and shared responsibility. Through this transformative initiative, the club continues to uphold Rotary's motto of Service Above Self, creating opportunities that will benefit generations to come.

DrinkSafe Manila High
Providing Safe and Sustainable Drinking Water for Every Student

Aligned with one of Rotary International's Seven Areas of Focus—Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), the project addresses the essential need for safe drinking water within the school community. Through a ₱30,000 investment, the clubs rehabilitated two existing cold drinking water facilities, upgrading both units with a three-stage water filtration system to ensure cleaner, safer, and higher-quality drinking water for students, faculty, and staff.

The enhanced filtration system significantly improves water quality by removing sediments, impurities, and contaminants while maintaining a reliable supply of chilled drinking water. This initiative not only promotes better hydration but also contributes to improved health, sanitation, and overall student well-being.

DrinkSafe Manila High reflects the clubs' shared vision of creating lasting, sustainable projects that directly benefit the community. By investing in safe water infrastructure, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 and the Zonta Club of Makati-CBD continue to uphold their commitment to Service Above Self, ensuring that every student has access to one of life's most basic yet essential needs—safe drinking water.

RC Manila Supreme 198 Supports Manila High School's
ARAL Summer Program 2026

As part of the clubs' support for Manila High School's ARAL Summer Program 2026, the organizations donated essential educational and school resources, including a wireless internet router with SIM, two stand fans, and sets of ink for inkjet printers to help improve the school's learning environment and administrative capabilities.

Beyond these donations, the clubs also extended their care to the students by providing daily snacks throughout the two-week ARAL Program, ensuring participants remained energized and motivated during their learning sessions. To celebrate the successful completion of the program, they also sponsored the meals for the culminating ceremony and awarding program, making the occasion more meaningful for the students, teachers, and parents.

Through this collaborative initiative, the Rotary Club of Manila Supreme 198 and the Zonta Club of Makati-CBD reaffirmed their shared commitment to empowering young learners and supporting quality education. 43rd Anniversary & 44th Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Manila San Miguel

The Rotary Club of Manila San Miguel proudly celebrated its 43rd Anniversary and 44th Induction Ceremonies on July 20, 2026, at One Shang Place, EDSA corner Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

The meaningful celebration brought together Rotary leaders, members, and guests in commemorating more than four decades of fellowship, service, and commitment to making a lasting impact in the community.

13th Induction & 12th Handover Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Quiapo Plaza Miranda, held at the elegant Top of the Alpha in Alphaland Place, Makati. Under the Rotary Presidential message Create Lasting Impact, the event marked a powerful transition of leadership dedicated to public service.

Representing the strength and unity of our leadership, the event was proudly attended by Past President (PP) Glenn Leonardo, alongside our very own Charter President and current District Governor Maria Rosa "Bing" Carrion", who graciously stood on behalf of Impact Creating President Leslie Tan Rivera.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Impact Creating President Dario Yanto and United Chosen President (UCP) Atty. Don Tamayo as they officially take on their roles to guide the club toward new milestones of community service and impact.
