📖 BRINGING JOY TO FIRE VICTIMS IN BRGY BALON BATO, QC

The team was up and on the road early to reach fire-stricken families in a Quezon City barangay – only to learn upon arrival that many had relocated to Brgy Balon Bato. We immediately headed there to find makeshift homes that truly showed how hard life can be for those affected.

Our team connected with the local leaders right away, setting up our base at the open court where registration began. While families signed in, we prepared our station – and as more children gathered, our head coordinator shared stories, talked about our mission, and delivered heartfelt inspirational messages from the Bible.

Everyone thought we’d only be handing out aid, but we had a surprise in store! The kids’ faces lit up when Chummy Chum arrived – dancing with them, while some took photos with families (most of whom don’t own cameras).

After all the fun, we distributed our relief goods. The gratitude was overwhelming – even just a moment of joy and a warm meal meant the world to these children.

Huge thanks to all our volunteers and donors who made this possible: SM City Sucat, Zamony Venture Corporation, and everyone who gave pre-loved clothes and toys!

🇵🇭✨ INDEPENDENCE DAY BIRTHDAY JOY FOR KIDS IN NEED 🇵🇭

Independence Day was extra special this year – we celebrated a birthday with underprivileged kids, mixing national pride with sharing love and care!

Volunteers and Chummy Chum arrived early at the venue, then went to get kids from the Seacom slum areas.

While we set up, some moms arranged food and loot bags. Donors came too, including birthday boy Kane Asher. Our team got popcorn and cotton candy carts ready, plus prizes for games.

Clowns led fun games – almost every kid joined in, even the birthday boy’s sibling! Next came a funny magic show and bubble display that made everyone happy, including the celebrant’s parents.

When Chummy Chum came out, kids ran over like magnets – hugging and dancing with him! Everyone sang "Happy Birthday," then Kane Asher’s mom blew the candle and thanked everyone for coming.

After that, we gave out food and gifts. Everyone was so grateful to Chummy Chum and the donors for bringing everyone together.

Happy 1st Birthday Kane Asher! May you grow healthy, kind, and God-fearing.
