How to Grow Spiritually

โ€œThen we will no longer be infantsโ€ฆ Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 4:14โ€“15

Spiritual maturity means becoming more like Christ Christlikeness. And hereโ€™s the truth:
โ€ข Itโ€™s not automatic
โ€ข Itโ€™s a process
โ€ข It takes discipline

So how do we grow? Here are 5 simple but powerful habits:

1. Read & meditate on Godโ€™s Word (Joshua 1:8)
2. Pray daily, spend time with God (Mark 1:35)
3. Fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:25)
4. Giving (2 Corinthians 8:7)
5. Share the Gospel (Matthew 28:19)

Growth doesnโ€™t happen overnight, but with consistency and a heart surrendered to God, transformation will come.

Letโ€™s pursue Christlikeness, one step at a time.

BE DOERS OF THE WORD OF GOD

โ€œBut be doers of the word, and not hearers onlyโ€ฆโ€
โ€” James 1:22

By Godโ€™s grace, we are called not just to hear His Word, but to live it out daily.

Here are simple reminders to help us walk in obedience:

1. Obey Godโ€™s Word โ€” it reflects your love for Jesus (John 14:24)
2. Meditate on His Word daily (Joshua 1:8)
3. Control your speech โ€” let your words honor God (James 1:26)
4. Stay accountable โ€” grow with others and lift each other up (Proverbs 27:17; Galatians 6:1โ€“2)

Faith is not just what we know, itโ€™s how we live.

Letโ€™s not just listenโ€ฆ letโ€™s obey.
